When it comes to the PSP, we've all come to realize that their batteries only can hold a charge for so long. However, if you do own a PSP, this is something you're willing to overcome/overlook because, well, you wanna play games and the PSP still has some good entries in its library. Which means it stinks when your battery finally stops working and the only way you can suitably use it is to keep it plugged in 24/7. Also unfortunate that so many other replacements are slightly niche for certain PSP models. Then we have this little baby! Not only does it work as a suitable battery replacement, but the price is nice without being steep, it's handy, and it works excellently on my PSP. My only gripe would be, as mentioned above, that it can only hold a charge for so long (which isn't that big an issue as you'll still be able to get a good amount of playtime out of it, and I had this gripe with my old battery before it stopped working). Regardless though, still an excellent product in great condition, and when I eventually need to get another replacement, you can bet I'm ordering this again.

So far this seems to be one of the really good ones! My current testing has yielded about 3.5 hours of playtime off of 50% of the battery. It should give 7-8 hours of playtime on a PSP Brite (3000).Unfortunately, like most 3rd party batteries, the MCU in the battery will crash if USB charging and won't be usable again till the MCU is reset. To reset the MCU, you need to open the battery. Inside there is a circuit board, to reset the MCU, you need to short the pads marked G and R.This problem can be avoided all together by disabling USB charging in the system settings. Because this is such a minor problem, I'm not docking a star because of it.

Finding a replacement Battery & AC Adapter proved to be labor intensive, based on inconsistent Customer Reviews.I purchased this replacement Battery & a 'Fosmon [LVL 6 Efficiency Standard] Wall Charger AC Power Supply Adapter for Sony PSP 1000 series / PSP 3000 Series / PSP slim 2000 series' (the exact Amazon description) ... for a Sony PSP 2000 Star Wars Battlefront Console, a slim model.The Battery & AC Adapter work flawlessly. The Battery fits in the unit as described, charged, surprisingly fast, & kept it's charge throughout the day.I would recommend this replacement Battery & would purchase again.

Pros:No random reboots.Battery life personally ranged from 3~5, depending on either emulators being played or PSP games.Revive the "good 'ol days" of PSP gaming.Charges all the way to 100%, had this problem with many other batteries, either purchased on eBay or here on Amazon.Cons:Small battery, duh, so battery life isn't the greatest. However this can be fixed either through a battery mod, or a portable charger.9/10. I felt that I struck gold when this battery arrived, and worked as intended. Many other batteries I had purchased were labeled as 1200mAh either on Amazon or eBay, while the actual product would say a much larger number. Regardless this battery has no random reboots, which was the biggest problem for me while trying to revive my amazing experience with the PSP.

I don't know what to say....you get what you pay for?! At the time of writing this review that battery had just died. Lasted maybe two weeks! For no apparent reason. Ah well. Big battery mod here I come. Buy at your own risk

We ordered and received this battery to bring to life an old PSP 3001. The first one we received only made it through one charge cycle and then died and wouldn't take a charge anymore and the PSP didn't see it anymore.It has a one year warranty so we contacted the seller and they sent us a second battery under the warranty. The second battery is working flawlessly and is holding up great. We noticed the first battery is a little fatter than the second so we are assuming it has a bad cell, however the replacement is spot on, fits perfectly, and works as it should.Great price, fast shipping and the seller (company) is very responsive and easy to work with.

I recently dug out my PSP 3000 Slim only to find that the battery would no longer hold a charge. As I searched Amazon for a replacement, I quickly discovered that Sony no longer makes replacement batteries, and almost all of the third-party batteries available are worthless junk.I ordered this replacement from MPF Products because a) the reviews were fairly decent and b) it actually shipped from the USA. The battery arrived in five days and so far works well.I was also concerned by reviews of other replacement batteries that they were too big to use with the PSP's original battery cover. Some even ship with a replacement battery cover that bulges out to accommodate the larger size of the battery.Thankfully, this was not the case with this battery. Truthfully, it is a slightly tighter fit than the original Sony battery, but I was able to snap the PSP's original battery cover over it without issue.Overall, this is probably the best PSP replacement battery you can get right now. Time will tell about the battery's longevity, but so far I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I purchased this replacement battery for my grandson's PSP after pricing a Sony battery that I thought was too high! It has been working great for him. If he's happy, I'm happy especially if it saves me nearly $30! This is a great buy! It fits perfectly and it looks like the real battery without the Sony logo on it, but who cares about that? It cost less, but it works the same!
