This bowl came and I was surprised at how much prettier it was in hand than in the pictures. It is gorgeous. I bought it as a proofing bowl for bread. I have not used it yet, but it is gorgeous and I'm very happy with it.

We needed to replace our old wooden large salad bowl. Mostly we toss salads for our family of four. The large bowls are too big. This one works great for this siaze and because of its "low" shape it stores easily and makes mixing ingredients easy. ( we also bought a large bowl for more people when we have friends over)
