Great pouch for needle files. It’s well made, inexpensive, holds the files snugly so they don’t drop out and is the perfect size for my new needle file set.I needed new needle files to replace my 50 year old Nicholson set that were worn out.I located a 12 piece set of needle files made by ICS industries who make the needle files for a prominent tool company known for making top end and very expensive auto tools. The ICS files themselves were terrific quality but the cheesy red plastic pouch provided with the new needle files was junk. I found this blue canvas needle file case on Amazon and it was perfect for my needs. For the price, quality and fit, this pouch is a great deal all around.See the photos, they tell the tale. Hope this helps!

I wanted to separate my super delicate machinist files from the larger rough-work types files to keep the little ones from getting cracked in half. This was a great option for that purpose and was perfect for my needs. Seems well made and should protect the files for a long time and I will probably by more of them too.

Too short for standard files, Glardon or Grobet! There is a similar review from 2018. Obviously, the problem was not addressed. Also, there is no way to contact the company!

Best case for needle filesI bought one case, I Loved it so much that i bought 2 more to store all my needle files. Then I searched out to store my full size files in . Files are an investment and they are not cheap . Some being $100 each along with my more fragile riffler files that cost up to $45 each. They will last a long time with proper uses and storage .this prevents them touching.Easy to organize shapes and styles .I like how it’s easy to take a single file out and have access to all my others at a glance .I treat it like a organizer and stand. I fold the flap back and have them angled up. That way and you will be able to See the other sharpes will working and switch when needed. I store/use them with the handles inside the holder so the shape and type are eaasily visible. Even this way, when closed, your files are fully protectedTo protect the files I only keep the file im using out. When i am using multiple at one time . I extend them up part way , but still inside pouch , for ease of knowing which ones I need and switching out.Don’t even question it, buy this type of case for all your needle files, riffler files.

The pouch is not quite big enough. I have Grobet needle files, which are about 6.25 inches long. The velcro overlaps 3/8" when the pouch is filled and closed, not the entire width of the velcro. When I put my files point down into the pouch, the pointed ones poke through the material. If I put them handle down, I am afraid of damaging the points when the pouch is closed. The vinyl tri-fold plastic pouch the files came in provides great protection, but it hasn't survived the test of time.NOTE: If your needle files are shorter than mine, the pouch should work well to protect your files.I am returning the pouch. The seller was great. The pouch didn't work for me.

If you buy-use expensive hand files, safe file storage is a must! And these file pouches are currently the safest storage system I've yet used. Some of my #4 cut files approach $50.00 in cost, and to have them chip banging into each other! Every good file I own is now safely tucked into its own slot, and I even labeled the handles so I can pull the right file out without seeing the blades.
