For decoration, this is nice. But to market it as a toddler toy is absurd. Broken, chipped, and the metal sherpards rod looks to be lead. Not for kids at all. Put it on a shelf and don't touch it.

This ceramic nativity set makes me think of children in a nativity pageant -- the figures have sweet, childlike faces and neutral-colored costumes.The set includes a stable with star, an angel, the Holy Family, the Three Kings, a donkey, a shepherd, and a couple of lambs.Perfect for a child's room.

The current price of $43.95 for a set of basically small, white, resin figures is rather high in my opinion. I liked the idea of "farmhouse white" for a nativity set, and in the photo they look lovely, but in reality, the figures look almost all the same when seen in person, with more of a plastic-y appearance than in the photo. Also note the dimensions; they are quite small, and unfortunately I did not pay enough attention to that. I have to smile at the sheep, which look a bit like "Shaun the Sheep." To be honest, the set is very cute, but less charming in person than the impression I got from the photo and a little plain. Placed in some kind of decorative setting, such as greenery or other natural materials, they will stand out more.

We got this nice and small nativity set for our kids to play with and see and also to add to our collection of nativity sets. It's exactly what we were looking for to add to our decorations for Christmas, which is our favorite time of year too. These are simple and good little figurines with the nativity set and good size to fit and set on a shelf or table since they don't take up much space at all.

I love the look of this set. The neutral colors are nice and the people are well done. It is smaller so it doesn't take up a lot of space. You could display this pretty much anywhere. I think it would make a nice addition to your Christmas decor or very nice gift.
