Repaired the Toro self propelled mower. Perfect fit and easy install. In my opinion...the drive worked better than with the old wire but that was probably due to the wire being stretched over time.

I just recently gained my mower from someone, knowing it needed repairs. I took it to a local shop and they fixed it right up to get it running again. A few short weeks later, that mower was like pushing a Mack truck. The control cable snapped!Instead of taking it back to the repair shop, I decided to try my luck with fixing it. I found a YouTube video on how to replace this and was able to do it in like 15 minutes.There are not instructions so I do recommend watching a video to know what you are doing. Pay attention to where your current cable is and adjust it to match.I am hopeful this lasts awhile. The old one was a rusted cable that just snapped. This one does appear to be strong. If you don't see an update, then it is still working. I push mow about an acre of yard each week. Yeah, next purchase is a riding mower LOL

I found the cable I needed at a large third-party supplier, for $55. Then I found this cable -- essentially the same thing, functions perfectly, easy to install -- for $10.
