The fabric and construction of this grass catcher bag looks to be the same as the OEM. Lots of open mesh for the air to blow through, but tight enough to catch all of the grass clippings and leaves.You have to retain the original metal frame, but it's not hard to unclip the old bag and mount this new bag.

It's very simple to remove the old bag from the frame and replace with this new bag. The bag vents most air through the sides, but some does pass through the top. The top has an extra fabric piece on the inside to prevent most dust and particles from passing through and blowing onto the operator and into their face - dust and fine particles can pass through the sides.
