Beautiful bowl and long sustained tone... just what I was looking for. Mallets are quality made. Useful yet decorative. Nice patina on bowl with intricate design. Resting pillow very pretty. Very efficient packaging and shipping time. Overall very happy with and would recommend!

I am so glad that I sprang for this sound bowl. It is exactly as pictured, and the sonority is deep, smooth and long lasting. Overtones and undertones swing and you can almost feel them on your skin! My husband and I both are totally enchanted with it's beautiful, very relaxing sound. Making a big bowl like this sing needs a little practice, but most of all, start by giving it a tiny "ding" with the striker, just softly and then move the wooden handle of the striker, not the rubber part, around the rim rather slowly. Play with the speed and pressure to see what works. Less is more in this case. Once you find its groove, you'll hear it sing for you! I absolutely love the way this bowl looks and it does have a nice sound when hit, but I bought it believing it would also "sing" as in the title of the product. The upper outside rim has not been smoothed out enough. As I begin to run the wand around the bowl, it begins to vibrate, but there are multiple spots where once the bowl starts vibrating, the wand starts actually jumping off the bowl and there is an unpleasant buzzing sound. I would love a working replacement, but I cannot use this bowl. I'm returning it. Sad because it's lovely otherwise.

The art work on this engraved bowl is well done, and the sound of the bowl is deep with a long sustain. The bowl that I received was an A2. Communication was excellent and prompt, and I received the bowl quickly.

The bowl is not 11 in but a little more than 10". Sound is fantastic! I am confused that such a marvelous sound would come out of a bowl of shoddy appearance. The box that the 11 and 12" bowls arrived in was beaten up but my guess isno damage was done in transit. It is not a well made circle has places where it looks as if some one was try to make a hole. It looks more like an apprentice rather than craftsman's work. But the sound and the length of the vibrations is fantastic. Perhaps these two additional bowls, unlike the other six are supposed to have a rough and dirty appearance?I am okay with them but feel I should offer my uneducated impression.

This thing is deep and vibrates my whole living room floor. I use it in conjunction with some crystal bowls I have and it gives a nice sustained deep undertone. It sustains FOREVER! Plus the price is amazing.
