I ordered this single burner propane stove to store in our emergency “bug-in kit” for our cold Ohio winters if and when we lose electricity in the winter. We don’t have gas in the house so we are sort of beholden to electrical power to heat food and boil water. For home use as I bought it for I think it will work out great. I will say it is a bit large and bulky if you’re thinking of utilizing this for camping; packing it will take up a large amount of space! The burner seems well made but I will say that the aluminum frame seems very thin. Although this does make the unit lightweight, it may feel a bit cheap to some. You get what you pay for for $50 I guess. The top of the burner is made from case iron and is heavy relative to the overall burner housing, but nothing too heavy. The unit comes with a hose preinstalled with the proper attachments on both ends for the propane tank and to connect to the burner. I would suggest some pipe dope or teflon tape when attaching the hose to the burner as the fit doesn’t seem the tightest. I didn’t smell any propane when testing the unit but it just didn’t feel as snug as it seemed like it should be.There is really nothing more to this unit other than the hose, burner frame, and cast iron cook top. The flame dial is a cheap plastic dial which fits with the “feels cheap” narrative about this burner. Again, for $50 I’m not dissatisfied, just keep that old adage in mind if/when you buy this particular burner.I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Cheers!

Before I ordered it I've checked amazon page and there was no warning that this item cannot be returned if DEFECTIVE from factory.1. Ignition starter has to be used many times till get one weak lighting spark.2. The burner has the flame uneven one side, because it's very high is leaking on that side unburned propane gas, 100% unsafe, cannot be used. Thanks to amazon now I'm out of my wallet of 95 bucks. Buyers STAY AWAY of this piece of junk!

This is pretty big. Make sure to check the size so that it will fit in your travelling scheme. I think this is meant more for home type use, like when you're searing meats and don't want the house smokey. Or you have a big BBQ spread and this is cooking a big ol' pot of gumbo. The burner is pretty big and so is the grate. I put a two quart pot on it and it was just large enough for the grate. I heated up a quart of water in a little less than 10 minutes. It's very easy to use and worked flawlessly. Again, just check the size to make sure you have a place for it.

This portable propane cooker works well, has a nice lighting feature built into thr dial, and the fire is easy to control. The odd part is that the peak fire is achieved by going to the middle of the dials rotation; if I were to rotate all the way counter-clockwise then it will go to its lowest setting, but if I go fully clockwise then it turns off. So the magic happens in the middle of the dial rotation where the fire is strongest, and I enjoy using the cooker in my barn when we want to make some smelly food that we don't want to cook in the house. The connection to a 20lb propane tank was painless and this setup is much better than those 1lb tanks.

Picked this up to bring along on the next camping trip as I no longer has a cooking stove. This stove plugs into the Coleman propane cannisters with no issues and produces a sufficient flame. Hopefully will last me a long while.

It's easy to use, just connect the hose finger tight and a bit more. Ladies may need a 4" crescent wrench for that last 1/3rd turn. Turn on the gas and if you smell gas, tighten the hose a bit.I connected everything, turned on the gas and it lit the very first try. The flame is a nice color and evenly spread. This will be great for camping. Sure. it's a little bulkier than a fold-up Coleman stove and toting a 20# tank in a milk crate is even more bulk. But I think it's worth the inconvenience just for the price of 1# disposable gas cylinders. The burner looks like cast iron that is uh, well cast. It doesn't look like cheap junk. The rest looks great for the price. Keep this out of the rain and it will last for many many years.Nicely made for the price. Easy to use. Makes a lot of heat. Good price. Looks durable. They have a two burner version also.

Take your camping trips to the next level with this portable propane cooker! Or you can use this in the backyard in addition to your summer bbq cookout sessions to cook things that don't belong on the grill. Either way, this will elevate your outdoor cooking game to the next level. This burner has an automatic ignition system, so you don't have to fuss with trying to light it. You can adjust the flame with an easy turn of the knob so you can keep your heat exactly where you need it at all times. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and just makes your outdoor enjoyment that much more enjoyable.

Overall this a solid burner. Only 1 dislike for my specific needs, but it still seems to be made well & will get a lot of use.Likes:1) easy to hook up and use.2) equal good flame all around the burner.3) comes with everything you need except the propane & tanks.Dislikes:1) way way way bigger than I thought it would be. - it's not going to work for my intended use, but it will still get lots of use around the house or car camping with the family when I bring ALL the stuff.I recommend this for car camping if you have A LOT of room to pack it, or if you need an extra burner for cook outs at the house.
