I think the cover could be better. I would like it to be longer so that it offers good coverage. I like that it is cotton which helps in the summer time but I think the dark color is too dark and can get too hot. I think there are better covers out there!

Surprised by this cover upyou can see through it if you hold it upbut when its resting on the baby you cant see anythingits easy to fold up and put in the diaper bagits not really soft but its not scratchy and itchy eitherit should fit all sizes with ease

If you're back and forth between this one and the name brand, you can buy this one.I have the name brand version of this nursing cover which cost me about $90. While the name brand one is very slightly nicer this one is extremely close. Although, I bought the cream colored one and there isn't a cream color option with this brand. The shape is the same as the name brand and it's about the same size (although they have released a plus size version). The trim around the edges and the knit of the fabric looks nearly identical. This one feels a tiny bit stiffer, the name brand is slightly silkier but not enough to justify twice the price, in my opinion. I haven't washed this one yet so it likely will soften a bit with washing. I also used mine often to cover the car seat/stroller for naps. It came with a quality laundering bag just like the name brand one. It's currently $46 which is ok but not great. I had a hard time styling the name brand one as a scarf because it was silky & didn't hold onto itself well so this one may be better for wearing as a scarf.

With the head hole, seems easy to keep total privacy vs any accident where you didn't notice the fabric had an unexpected fold or had slipped or anything. Well thought out.

This worked pretty well for me. I used a thin muslin blanket as a cover for the first few months with my current little one, but after a few months he started grabbing at it and it made it very difficult to keep myself covered while he ate. I like how this one is securely attached to me, and it is pretty large so there is plenty of room to cover my little one and myself even if he moves around a bit. It is also a fairly breathable mesh material, and yet thick enough to not be see-through. I still prefer just being at home and not using a cover, but this is great for when I need something.
