much better than expected. I ground safety edges on one with my 8" 130 grit grinding wheel and a 12" bastard file, and much dust was created just to clean up the edges, I think the coating is excellent. Mostly used to file fret ends on unfinished Amazon necks during guitar building.

Decent files but the thin rubber handles last about 3 mins before they rip and fall off. I used electrical tape to get the job finished
