Maybe half the size of the regular clay bar sizes I typically get, but they work great. I like how easy they come out of the plastic they are wrapped in and they are packaged nicely in a single container. I used it to clay for a job and there were some tough grime spots all over the chrome bumper and truck hood; still tough for the clay bar, but the end results with a wax was excellent.Remember to always use lube or soap with clay or it will stick to the surface and leave marks and could mar the surface.. it’s great thing when it works, but behold, clay baring is no five minute process.

There’s really nothing better than the synthetic clay impregnated microfiber mitts and towels that are available today. They give you great flexibility for ease of removing your typical fallout that has attached to your clear coat.Clay bars previously were the only option to perform this function. The downside is that they are very tedious with having to knead them to achieve softness and constantly rotate them over the surface as you’re working. These clay bars are best suited for removing contaminants that have attached themselves around the wheel openings and wells, the trunk and hood openings, door jams, the face of the wheels themselves, and perhaps some of the bright metal on grill components or lights. Single use areas and then discard. In my opinion, clay bars have a very limited usefulness for decontaminating the majority of the car’s clear coat. Synthetics are an easier and better choice for maintaining the clear coat.

The clay bars have a powerful ability to absorb dirt and remove oxidation, scale, iron powder, acid rain, tree sap, and other harmful residues. This leaves the paint feeling incredibly smooth and makes waxing and polishing much easier. The clay bars are also versatile, safe to use on paintwork, clear coats, mirrors, bumpers, windshields, wheels, glass, headlights, tail lights, and polished metals. My only caution is that using the clay bars does require some elbow grease. Rubbing the clay bar over the car's surface can be physically demanding, especially on larger vehicles. Be prepared for a workout! Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Stemni Car Clay Bars. They're a great tool for any car enthusiast looking to keep their vehicle's paint in pristine condition. The results are well worth the effort required to use them.

It's been a while since I last used a clay bar, but as I recall from the last set, these seem more tacky. I don't think that's necessarily ideal. As long as you're lubricating your work area well, I think these will work fine. Pliable and easy to work with, no unusual smells, not dried out, etc. The only real criticism I have is that these individual little packets of clay are quite hard to open. I ended up having to cut the edge of the packet in several places so I could open it up enough to get the bar out. Again, not sure if that's expected or not, but it was annoying. The last time I got a clay bar, it came in a clamshell case, I don't recall it being wrapped in plastic, but the clamshell case was nice because you could put the bar back into it neatly.

I've used detailing clay on my cars for years; it's labor-intensive, but the results can be phenomenal if you are careful and diligent. Due to some health and time issues, I realized that I had not done this for about 18 months and my clay was old and drying out. I looked for some new product and found this Stemni 10-pack of Clay Bars and decided to give it a shot. You get a nice sealable jar with 10x 50g squares of clay, each one individually wrapped. This is important since the clay should never dry out... you want it pliable and soft. I took a packet, and used a little less than half to try it out. Here's my basic rules for using Clay Bars:1. never work on a hot car or in the sun. You want your paint cool to the touch and out of the sun since you need a lubricating fluid.2. test your paint with the back of your hand. Don't use your fingertips... they have calluses and are thicker than the skin on the back of your hand. If the paint is still too hot, you'll feel it right away. Do a before and after to get a rough idea of how the cleaning is going.3. less is best. Don't take a giant wad of clay and go to town on your paint; you want a small enough piece that your body temp can warm and soften the clay and you can continuously mold and expose fresh clay for your paint.4. ALWAYS use a lube spray. I like M*****rs Quick Detailing Spray since I can find it anywhere, it's cheap, and it's designed to clean your paint. Never drag the clay... it should glide over the paint without pulling. All you are doing is removing surface contaminants attached to the paint layer. You are not buffing or waxing!5. work in small sections. On vertical sections, I wet down roughly 10in x 18in, and then smoothly work the paint surface in straight strokes. On the roof or hood, I go with a larger section since it's easier to do.6. plan your time. On my Mini Cooper S, I can do a thorough clay session in about 45mins to 1hr; on my wife's 4-Runner, it's a good 2-3 hours. On the 1993 MB 500SEL that's bigger than most commercial fishing boats? I break it into at least two separate sessions. On separate days.7. do not scrub like a madman/madperson. The whole idea here with a clay bar is to remove tiny fragments of dust, pollen, tire grit, grime that has settled on your paint and over time gets embedded in the paint. That's what you are getting rid of.8. if it drops, throw it away. When you are done, throw it away. If your clay hits the ground it picks all the grit on the floor. Toss it. When you are done with a session, toss it.9. finish everything off with a good wax to protect the clean paint. Clay bars will remove any surface gunk and any wax. Clean and then protect. So, my thoughts? This worked great. I really like the bright orange color... you can see immediately how much dirt and grime you pulled off the paint. I don't know why more companies haven't done that before. I found this Stemni Clay Bar product to be really useful, and I get a ton of it plus a nice microfiber towel. Good stuff!

I am by no means a detailing expert, but I have watched enough tutorials to see what to look for and how to do it. These clay bars have worked well for me. You only need not use a small amount at a time, so the amount of clay bars included will last a very long time. The clay is soft and smooth and I had no issues applying it to the surface of my vehicle. There was no scratching, just a beautiful finish.
