As I posted in my review that got dissed (now reworded a bit)... When the belt arrived it had the wrong p/n on it, other reviewers had same issue. I installed this one and it worked great. Did not return it. So if you do order this and the p/n has a 38008 on it, no worries it worked on my unit that needed a 28008 belt. My local vacuum repair center told me all I needed was an "008" belt, which this one is. So this review does not focus on Sellers, Delivery, Packaging Pricing or Availability. Should be good, just forewarning any potential buyers that the p/n received worked,. Amazon, please read the other reviews before not posting mine.

Seems to be an exact replacement for the existing belt. Marked as Hoover, fits great, works perfectly.

It does fit my Hoover Concept II (circa 1988) but I don't believe the one I received is an actual Hoover belt.* The one that came off has "Hoover" and the part number molded into it. I bought it at a big box store and it was retail packaged with the Hoover brand on a card.* The one I received has "fits Hoover" and the part number printed onto it.* The one I received is in a white and clear plastic bag. I'd type in the text on it, but I tore thru it.

This belt is the real deal: Hoover branded, and will fit perfect if you know the right belt number for your machine. My package had two belts instead of the advertised one, so I'm sure someone out there will complain about that for some reason... but not me! So for situation, I was able to order this belt, receive it, and get my Mom's vac up & running again all inside of my week visiting her over Christmas. Her opinion of her "ancient" Hoover vac went from being just "noisy" to being her new Miracle Clean Machine. I'll never know how long she's been running that thing with a busted belt.Sons...Daughters...change your folk's vac belts once in a while!

Our original belt broke just after we got a new puppy. Needed the vacuum fixed quickly to clean hair and all the stuff puppy chewed up and left on floor. Found you-tube video that showed me how to fix, ordered this part on Amazon based on other reviews saying original part number was just too darn tight. Worked like a charm. All that while my husband was out of town. Doesn't get much better.
