Great fun toy for getting children to learn numbers and having fun at the same time. Very good idea for the littles one to combine fun with the math numbers. Quality could be little better as per the price. Overall it’s good toy for my 2 years old.

When I saw this, I had to order for my grandson, his parents are always playing D&D, so he wants to play with the dice. Now he has his own to play with. Dice is nice and soft, so not danger or damage to the child or other items around them.

I bought this die to play games with a group of kids at church. The kids love it! It's the perfect size, durable, soft, and functional. I couldn't ask for a better die.

I feel like somethign that is likely going to be given to a toddler could at least came in a box or something to keep it clean. Came with a touch of shrink wrap loosely wrapped half way around it. Its nice stiff foam, feeling a little stiffer than a stress ball. The way it arrived feels like it was pulled from a larger set and repacked to sell separately. No branding or anything on it even to let you know how to get more if you wanted.

Well, maybe not ever but this is a fun D12 dice! It is large and soft, so it won't smash anything when you roll it around. It is foam so keep in mind that if it get nicked (or if your 1 year old baby chews on it) those marks are permanent. So, consider using this die for inside activities and on a flat, smooth surface.Overall, I'm super pleased with this die. It has held up well and was put to good use for my kid's birthday party scavenger hunt.

So dodecahedrons are my favorite solid shape. I have tons around the house. This is the same size as my exercise and yoga pose ones. This is far more colorful and I guess you could use it if you're into dragons and underground jails. I plan play with my grandson tossing and kicking it around.

Update: I"m deducting 1 star because I just realized that unlike in the product picture, there is no way to distinguish between the 6 and 9. Neither of them have a line under them. Not a big deal since I can use a marker to fix this but you shouldn't have to modify a new product for it to work as intended.The Good:This could be a great learning tool for kids in practicing numbers. The added element of chance may keep it a little more interesting. Shape, weight, and structural integrity is good. Outcome does seem pretty random. Appearance is fun and welcoming. Surfaces are smooth and numbers are printed directly to the die, not a sticker or anything that can peal.What could be better: This is no precision made object. Just like in the photos for the product, the print is not perfectly aligned with each side but it's plenty good for a toy. On some of the corners, the blue ink is already a little warn down exposing the white foam underneath, but it still looks good.Although this will be given to a child afterwards, I am actually going to be using this for Christmas party game involving Dirty Santa gifting. I was initially going to buy a dice made specifically for that but found that they have some really dumb random actions written in that don't make any sense. Instead, I'm just going to write my own actions on paper and assign them to numbers on this dice. The younger kids can get involved by reading off the numbers for us if they want and maybe the older ones can read the action from the card.
