  • Works with standard PVC SCH40/SCH80 Fittings & Cement.
  • Pipe is rigid (not very flexible, but may have a slight amount of flex like all PVC pipe.)
  • Max Pressure @ 73F is 220 PSI.

1 Inch diameter Clear PVC pipe (Schedule 40), Cut to Length.
PVC pipe is measured by the nominal inside-diameter (ID).
Pipe has an approximate ID of 1.029 inch and an approximate OD of 1.315 inch, per PVC Schedule 40 Specifications. As with all extruded pipe, the inside diameter can vary a little. Tolerance for the inside diameter is +/- 2% of the stated diameter.
This pipe is manufactured in strict compliance to ASTM D1785.
Pipe has a bluish tint to prevent yellowing from UV light (as seen in pictures).
For use with standard PVC fittings and PVC cement.
This pipe should be protected from the sun. Extended exposure to ultraviolet light may cause discoloration and the heat may cause warping.
Length Tolerance: +/- 1/16 Inch
Please note that there is no product packaging with this product, it is just the pipe itself.
Pipe weight: 4.7 oz. per foot.
Do not use PVC pipe with compressed air or gases as it can cause the pipe to explode and create shrapnel.
Item quantity is 1 piece.
How to cut: If you need to cut the pipe, you should avoid using a ratchet-style PVC cutter, as that will likely break this pipe. Instead, use a saw such as a hacksaw, miter saw or radial arm saw, or one of the pipe cutters that you tighten a little, turn on the pipe, tighten some more and turn on the pipe and repeat until the pipe is cut.

It is not as cheap as the white PVC but if you need to have a see-through to this is great

Product works very well. Be sure to follow the manufacturer connection instructions. Be careful if using the blue primer, as it will permanently stain the clear tubing. Uses standard PVC slip fittings, which is great.

Works great for a septic tank measuring tube by just adding a rubber ball to the end with a string .

The ID is smaller than advertised, and the pipe is nearly clear. It's pretty expensive compared to the colored Schedule 40 equivalents. billooltewah

What else can I say? It's clear sch40 PVC that fits all standard PVC fittings. Just make sure you use a fine tooth saw to cut this stuff, ratcheting cutters WILL crack it!

I used it as a sight glass for a 550 gallon sap tank. I now don't have to get a ladder to see how much is in there.
