It works like the original except that I have to enter the code to close, too. Not sure why that is necessary, but I still like this remote. It even looks the same and has the same dimensions as the original.

I took a chance on this opener since it was cheap, and that backfired. I really wanted one touch close to help out the Amazon delivery people since the system occasionally has problems closing my garage after they make an Amazon Key delivery. I did ask Amazon's Rufus if this keypad supported one touch close, and the reply was, "The product information indicates it supports one-button close for LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman garage door openers from 1993-present with a colored learn button." Well, I have a Liftmaster that was made around 2004 or 2005.It turns out the one button close only works for a few seconds after you already entered your PIN - like the many other keypads I saw. This will not help delivery people since they don't use a PIN. I guess they will have to call in to have other Amazon personnel close the garage door or press the close button on my wall and run for it.Don't buy this if you want one button close.

My grandma wasn’t a fan of having to shut the garage 100 times everyday when someone came in or out of the house. So to make it easier we got the garage door openers so everyone can have one in there car and it has helped so much! No more open garage doors
