This stage micrometer slide works just as well as a scientific grade slide - but at 10% of the cost.

Good and easy way to calibrate your digital microscope setup as it has VERY close to the same thickness as my test subject slides.It's REALLY nice that the highest resolution is dead center since my current slide holder has side to side stops that keeps me from viewing anything but the center third of the slide (I know bad slide holder, but that is what was included with my microscope).Good resolution for the Andonstar 249S digital microscope.The lines are sharp and well defined and the "cross pattern" allows you to check both horizontal and vertical resolution on the digital capture.Unknown accuracy as I have no way to validate the slide.

unfortunately I don't have something to check the accuracy of this against, but the overall quality seems very good and the printing is sharp and clear under magnification.A useful to to have

I do a lot of science outreach with kids and I absolutely love passing these calibration slides around and then showing how much larger the dots are under the microscope. A lot of kids have a hard time understanding what "100x magnification" or "2000x magnification" mean, especially when they're young enough that they have just started learning things like multiplication and division. If you've bought a "toy" microscope to start sharing the joy of science with your kids, one of these little reference slides is an absolutely essential addition to your microscopy kit.
