This thing puts out such a small amount of ozone and it takes a long time before it fills up a room. It's better than most units of this size, but still not what I was hoping for. In my experience, these smaller units like this usually fail after a couple of months, but I'm not saying this one will fail in that short of a time. If you spend $10 more dollars, then you can flood the room with as much ozone in 1 minute that this thing puts out in 30 minutes (that's not a scientific fact, just my own observation). Here's the link to the one that you'd want to purchase if you're trying to get the job done quickly.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CCCGGKN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My wife thinks we need to have a zoo so she decided to get a German shepherd a few years back. Well sometimes he stinks to high heaven so I got this to put next to his crate to mellow the smell out. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out it did take me a second to figure out that you have to hold the power button down for longer than you think to turn it on but once I got that we were off to the races. I set it for high 120 and let it do its thing. It took a couple of cycles to knock down the smell but it definitely worked. This will also be great for my office because the dog likes to come in there sometimes and well it doesn't smell good after that.

I really like this thing, although I have to be careful how I use it, as I have allergies, and ozone can exacerbate allergy and asthma issues in people. So this can be used safely, and to very good effect, but you must at the minimum, leave the room while its running, and then ventilate the space with open windows, purifiers, fans etc. for at least a good 1 hour before "occupying" the space again. (offiiciallly i think 4 hours is recommended but with good ventilation about 1 hour can have clean air again.) Point is...once you step back in the space, with ventilated air...you will likely have much fresher smelling air, and less odor. But you cannot be breathing in too much ozone, while in a room with it running, as it can be dangerous for ones health. (so the idea of up near the ozone the air smells cleaner, but its a little harder to breathe, your throat may feel raspy-ish, or hoarse, coughing etc., thats for healthy people, and for people with asthma or allergies can trigger an asthma attack or other problems, and if exposed to that continually...an adult can get adult-developing asthma from prolonged exposure to ozone, or a number of other environmental triggers.)So....use it safely. But once you have that part out of the way....its great. I had it on the "high" setting when I first turned it on to test it. There is a 30, 60, and 120 minute button options, so you can turn it on, leave the space, and know for how long until you can come back and ventilate. So its a great feature to choose the time you want and that it will auto-shutoff after the chosen time period. So as soon as I turned it on....within seconds...I could smell the ozone smell. Differert human noses will smell ozone differently (and some cant smell it at all) but for me it smelled kind of a cross between slightly musty...and the clean smell after it rains. So I knew within seconds that this thing was working as I smelled it STRONGLY (more musty at first), after only like 3 seconds running it and being near it in my kitchen. I then turned it off and will use it in some smelly closets and only rooms with the door shut, with windows open for ventilation. There is also a "low" setting for perhaps if you are in the house but in a different room, you could run it that way ,just make sure windows are open and you get ventilation in there before you go back in the room. If you want to run it on high in like an entire house or apartment, I would suggest leaving for a while, officially 4 hours. So it depends how high/low you use it, and where you place it.Lastly, it needs to be plugged in, and some other units are portable and rechargeable so this is very useful to be plugged in to say a bathroom, bedroom, in RV's etc. but you will need an extension cord to run it into a closet or spaces without an outlet. but for a simple and easy to use, powerful, and very effective portable plug-in ozone generator....its really, really, good. Very happy with it.Overall: you can get the sense of that fresh clean "after it rains" air smell, at the touch of a button. (or if in a very odorous place, it may reduce the odor a lot, perhaps after continual use etc.) I would also suggest using it in conjunction with other means to get rid of the worst odors, such as mosiure bags (damprid etc.) dehumidifiers, baking soda, and this ozone is another very powerful tool in combating odor, and leaving you with much fresher air. (I am using all 4 in a very humid and smelly closet I inherited at this apartment, this being one of the most powerful of those options, probably the most powerful - all combining - at massively improving the smell and air quality.) You just have wait a little while... and use ventilation.

This works fine but is priced really high for only 300mg/h. You can get one that does over 10 times more output for less money. I guess if you really value the compact size then it could be worth it but if you just want an ozone generator I’m not sure it’s a good value. There are even other brands like OdorStop with compact models for about 40% less cost. At this low output there are probably not too many health risks but ozone generators absolutely can impact your health and should be used with caution. There are no warnings on the package or the unit and there should be. Please do some reading if you’ve never used an ozonator before. There are some basic precautions that should be taken.

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I'm accustomed to the much larger Ozone generators, which I also use, so I didn't think it'd be able to fit a workable system in such a small package.Granted the larger ones will cover your entire house and this one is for much smaller spaces like individual rooms. But it does work well. Best of all, you can run it and still be in the space you're running it in. The large units you want to vacate the premises within 10 minutes.I definitely recommend this product.

I bought one from another brand and this works perfectly and is actually more quiet and makes the air almost non-existent… I’ve never owned something like this but I couldn’t smell anything haha I guess that means it worked and plugged into the wall so that was nice. No batteries to fuss with.
