For fireproof to 2600f, this insulation paper should be good for mid-fire clays. We tried it out, and it did survive at near 2400f, but the paper carbonized and deformed. For low-fire, it should be fine. Nice to protect expensive kiln shelves from potential glaze drip. Would be good for glass fusing too.This will be nice to have on-hand when we do projects that involve fire/heat. Woodburning, soldering, casting, metal clay. Extra protection is always good.
