The description says heavy duty, but it is not. Used it for books and it broke within months. If it hadn't been affixed to the wall, it would have toppled and maybe have hurt someone.

Overall design and idea seems great. But quality could be much better. It is easy to assemble but not sturdy enough (maybe because we opted for the taller version). It definitely has good storage capacity.

It looks so good, but I’m concerned as I’ve noticed a definite bend in every shelf where it joins the shelf end. Fingers crossed it holds out.

I ordered this bookshelf and the first one didn’t come with the tools needed to build it, just the boards. However, I reordered this same bookshelf & their customer service immediately made sure the issue was taken care of. The bookshelf is GORGEOUS! It fits in perfectly in my bedroom and has so much room for books & other knick knacks. It’s exactly as described and I couldn’t be happier. I would’ve rated it a 5 if not for the hiccup with the tools the first time, but it deserves a great rating for its quality & customer service.

It’s a great nice piece but one of the pieces came broken and I’m having trouble getting a hold of anyone to replace the part. My only options have been to replace and send back. I just want a replacement piece.EDIT to say I was able to get In touch with someone and get this fixed so I am rating 5 stars.

I bought two of these shelves to display my Legos on. They were easy to put together and look really nice (I got the black ones), but the structure is not very sturdy. I have them set on hardwood flooring and I resorted to securing the self to the floor with gorilla glue sticky tac and it has held up nicely. If I hadn't secured everything, all of my Legos and other items would be in pieces on the ground.

Needed a cheap, stylish bookcase with lots of room. This worked perfectly. Although it was cheap, it is very sturdy (I did anchor it to my wall, which was provided), holds tons of weight, and all the hardware was included for me.

I wanted a bookshelf that was not a standard shape. I love geometric designs, and this shelf can be used for some interesting decorations around the house. I bought a pair (6-tier, white) to go on either side of the TV and they look great!My girlfriend and I assembled both shelves in under 45 minutes (we used an electric drill), it's so quick and easy. The shelves have pre-drilled holes for easy set-up, unlike some of the other shelves I had tried, where the screws were sticking out. The shelves also come with stickers for screw cover-ups, but there's only enough to cover the screw holes on the display side. The shelf does not come with its own legs, but I have a ton of felt sticker feet from the local store that I applied. Helps with sliding around hardwood.However, due to not having a wide or heavy base, they can be a little wobbly if you don't secure them to the wall. It would be best to keep anything heavy near the bottom unless you use the dry wall mount or secure them to a stud. The shelf does come with its own wall mount, and you can choose which side to be top or bottom, as they are the same board (board A on the instructions- the board meant for the wall mounting), so it is likely why there's no legs or set heavy base.Overall, happy with the purchase!
