Youth model review. Bought this for my 67lb third grader to drill. It is very well made and the articulated joints make it better than other brands for halfs, bars, legs, etc What I don't like is while the torso is youth size the arms and legs are not. This makes it very awkward for a youth to navigate around while running moves. They are so long and awkward for a youth model, i feel it warrants 3 stars, however this is the only issue but it's a big one for youth. A side note, the vinyl or material used for the skin doesn't allow skin to slide over it easy, I suggest practicing with sweats and long shirt for easier flow.

I threw away the first one after I received no help from the manufactor. I decided that it must have been a defective one. I then bough an adult and kid size. The same thing happened to both and this time I was very careful not to over rotate with kimuras and americanas. Shoulder locks. The design is great but the arms end up extremely floppy and unrealistically flexible. They are just hanging everywhere. Huge waste of money.

Able to drill a full range of moves and combos on the dummy from full guard, shoulder pin, butterfly, head control, cradle (somewhat), quarter nelson, 411, etc.

The Ring to Cage Adult Deluxe MMA Grappling dummy 3.0 was exactly what I was looking for. It is exceptionally durable and will probably last me for years. I am new practitioner of Jiu Jitsu and find this dummy especially useful for drills and practicing different submissions. The head and feet are a little small for the body size but large enough for my purposes. This is a great dummy for the price to improve your game. If you do not have a gym near you or a willing partner to drill with the dummy is a great stand in. I recommend you get a Gi for it to simulate grappling with a Gi. The dummy is also suitable for striking if that is a part of what you want to do.
