The Crank Pulley wrench holder worked very well. The cam sprocket wrench was so-so - I had to work to get it all the way on or else it would slip off. The cam lock tool did not fit the Allen/hex keys in the cam pulleys/sprockets. I true 10mm Allen key worked but the tool was slightly too large. I had to grind the sides of each Allen key to get them to fit - made my job take much longer.

I recently acquired a combo tool set aimed at automotive maintenance tasks, particularly for cam gears and crankshaft bolts, with a focus on Subaru models. At first glance, the tools seemed of sufficient quality for the price, suggesting a viable alternative to more expensive name-brand options. However, the quality, while decent, doesn’t quite match up to that of the name brands.The primary tool I needed was for locking the cam gears on my 2002 Subaru WRX EJ205 motor. Despite the kit’s compatibility claims, this tool did not fit the Allen head slot, making it unusable for its intended purpose. This was a significant disappointment, overshadowing the initial positive impressions of quality and value.I have yet to test the remaining two tools in the kit and will update this review based on their performance. While the minor quality differences from name brands are worth noting, the primary concern is the compatibility issue, which renders the main tool ineffective for my needs.

Can't get the Job done because it didn't come with everything. I am missing hardware and the bracket for the cam holder tool. So now what? Lol
