Very sturdy and the steel top looks great in our kitchen. We did not have enough counter space so this definitely provided us with ample surface area and good storage space inside. The build isn't particularly a breeze but we managed to get it done in an evening. Shipping speed & customer service was excellent. Great value for the price.

This Island is adorable in photographs and the materials are decent in person but it was not worth the hassle and horrible customer service for this price. Not worth taking it apart to return it even though I wish I could get my money back. Material collects finger prints/oils from hands very easily, drawers do not fit the tracks and scrape against the wood vs staying on track, front cabinet does not shut all the way/doesn't stay closed. Had to ask for instruction manual from company. Company said they couldn't help with missing pieces/items and that should be amazon's responsibility. amazon said the company is supposed to. Amazon offered to send me a whole new product just because we couldn't locate the screws instead of sending the small missing pieces which seemed absurd to me. I would not want to deal with more of these heavy boxes. Mess all around. I'd return it if it didn't require disassembling/taking the heavy boxes back to whole foods.

Fits great in my home, great value. Do need extra help to put together. Took about 3 hours to put together. I wish there was option to pay to have someonefrom Amazon come put it together ( like was offered when I purchased my bed frame) . Center drawer sticks a little.

The pieces didn’t fit. Parts were missing. The instructions didn’t match the parts. Returned after struggling to put it together for a couple days.

This island was very inexpensive, but came with spice shelves on both ends plus a electrical outlet. The island extends for bar stools. The wood looks good and the top wipes clean easily. The only minor problem was one knob was the wrong size.
