This four pack of post brackets allows for a variety of uses in supporting posts or whatever else you can think of using them for. Each piece fits to a corner of the posts, which allows you to put it on whatever size post you need from 1.5-whatever inches, though they aren't super heavy duty so I wouldn't use these as supports on larger than 4x4 posts.I ordered these to connect a short 4x4 post to a neighborhood library box that we had purchased to put out in front of our house. They worked well as a base to connect the post and provide a bit more support to the library box. I'm not sure what metal these are made of, but the powder coating looks good enough that they should handle weather pretty well. I'm pleased with how they worked and how it looks after.

Nice heavy duty brackets to repair wood posts. I have a 4x4 railing end post that has become unstable due to rotting at its base. These brackets allowed me to reinforce the base of the post to get a few more years of service before I have to replace the railing. Great product.

These adjustable deck posts are made of high end good quality metal,are very durable,sturdy and easy to install as they come with all the hardware to make my posts very firmly secure onto my deck.

As a pro handy person, have used these in the past. I find many deck builds are done poorly. Especially when it comes to the pasts for the stair rails which can become dangerous. These heavy duty fasteners can help provide much needed support. Found them very useful and you will need a thicker head deck screw to make these work but the package does come with some
