This is a single stud heavy bag mount, which I think is good since I only need to look for one stud to mount it on. Unlike the the other types where you need a 2x4 to run across just to mount it. The lag screws that came with it are enough to secure the mount to the stud. This has an adjustable arm but I suggest adjusting it only up to the middle so as not to put too much stress on the arm due to the weight of your heavy bag.

Easy setup.. make sure you get the beams it took about 30min to set up. It’s been up for a week my 10 years old and 16 year old have been using it with no problem. It’s holding a 80lbs Everlast heavy bag.

This is very sturdy and a great solution to having a heavy bag if you want to be able to have true movement around it and not trip over the base. It will also work with Muay Thai bags if you hang it higher. it is absolutely solid on the wall, just make sure that you screw that bag holder part on properly so that the screw doesn't come back out!If you can drill into studs in your home this is definitely better than the traditional heavy bag holder with the two legs.

Can definitely hold weight. I hung from it with no problems, and I weigh 155lbs. The heavy bag I use is probably 80 to 90 lbs, and it holds up perfectly. Have been using for a few months and it does not show any signs of dropping or bending. Convenient to have it swing against wall when not in use. You should buy it.

First I will like to say it works however, you are not getting a high quality product which should be understandable and is acceptable to me give the price. The welds connecting the wall brackets to the body of the unit are not straight which results in the mounting arm not extending straight out from the wall at a 90 degree angle and the wall brackets are not parallel to each other like they could or should be do to poor attention to manufacturing. Both of these shortcomings are more esthetic than functional issues. The fact that the wall brackets do not have the needed length nor mounting holes to accommodated a normal 16" on center wall stud is baffling to me and as such you will need to use some sort of backing plate if mounting to a wall with normally spaced studs. The gauge of metal used is a little laughable given this mount is intended to hold a punching bag but so far it is holding. When in use, the mounting arm will move a little from side to side given the play around the holding pins but it's not much of an issue. My main concern is the overall cheap construction and potential short comings in manufacturing that could reduce the life of the mount but for now it is holding. The picture shows how far off to the left the mounting arm is and that level of lack of attention to manufacturing is a little concerning.

When this arrived in a small box, I immediately thought to save the box so I can return it. This is gotta be a toy pretend heavy bag mount. Not so. Holding up a 100 pound heavy bag that has been wailed on enough now that I am confident this is going to hold up just fine. I would recommend that you install it at a height that does not require you to extend it. It's much sturdier not extended.
