They produce a true saxophone sound, enhanced with a brightness and edge that derives from the silver-plating of beautifully machined solid brass stock. All Yanagisawa metal mouthpieces feature square chambers and come complete with matching ligature and cap. Visually as well as acoustically, these mouthpieces are true work works of art, created for the true artist. Tip Opening: 2.04mm, Facing Length: Long

I really should have my head examined for ordering another mouthpiece before getting more used to my new Berkeley sopranino and Vandoren mouthpiece. Should have stuck with what I had for longer before spending more money. Vandoren with BG lig (much easier to adjust than Rovner and I think plays easier) and carefully selected reed (it is a finicky little thing) is now fine. I am not returning this because "I just didn't like it" is not a good reason. Guess I will try to sell it.FYI, I have never met a metal mouthpiece I liked (another reason I should have my head examined), so YMMV.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago, and I really like it! It improved the tone, intonation and playability of the relatively inexpensive Sopranino sax I have tremendously. Feels like a different horn! Super quality and finish on this guy, too.I like it so well I'm strongly considering one for my soprano sax, too. Never felt as easy with the smaller horns as with the alto and tenor, but this mouthpiece has gone a long way toward taming my little monster!
