It took a while to figure out how to get it on, then when i did finally get to start to go, it went from super slow to sliding fast, and the second half was not aligned and tore one side. As i backed up to try to save it, the the other side ripped and half came off. I like the idea, just be careful and go slow when applying it. Also on my braided hose, once the one half did make it on, it was not tight on the hose.

I wear a Spectrum full face mask and I didn't know what to do with it after taking it off. I bought one of these to mount to the hose of it's regulator and now I can clip it to my BCD before and after a dive. Also bough one to clip off my regulators for sidemount. The rubber sleeve is a complete pain to get on an into position but once you get it there, it holds the clip perfectly.

In the process of trying to pull the black rubber sleeve onto the HP hose (with my analog SPG) it tore apart. Still not sure how it is supposed to slide over the hose fitting. Still, I was able to use the yellow “break away” band and the metal clip to secure my SPG to my BCD. More or less how it was intended. clever concept.. could’ve been designed better

The rubber protector was great for getting the boltsnap to stay in place on the hose, but the little yellow connector doesn't break away. They advertise it as something like 35 lbs of force, but I pulled against it almost as hard as I could, and it didn't break away. And I'm not some little person where I can't actually put in 35 lbs of force. I was putting well over 35 pounds of force into it, and I was afraid I would damage the hose before it broke. I'm sure I could cut it if I needed to, but I would not use this in any situation where you need it to break away quickly or easily.

I used the hook and wrapped the hose with a strip of bicycle innertube instead of the sleeve that was included. Sleeve was still a little loose and slid up and down the hose.
