It will only fit on one side of the door if you want to open it from the inside looking out side through the door you can only mount it to the left side

This is the best pet door option because you have the ability to swing it completely out of the way and use the whole width of your sliding glass door.Installing it was exactly like the video. The only minor detail is it doesn't tell you where exactly to mount it. It needs to be mounted on the interior track, not the little hump or exterior track. That way you can use the lock that comes along with it.
