This pool cleaner made my pool maintenance a lot easier. What I Like:The robot efficiency is impressive, better than what I expected. The large filter and dual filtration system capture even the smallest things, leaving the water clear. I like the smart path navigation, its S-shaped and N-shaped cleaning patterns make sure that every part of my pool is well cleaned. The app control offers a couple of cleaning modes and scheduling options so I can make it run when I know I am not going to use the pool, and the light indicators make it easy to track the battery status. With 180 minutes of runtime advertised (a bit less in real life) and a quick 3-hour charge, it covers my pool’s size multiple times without any issues. What I Dislike:While the unit is very smart, it sometimes struggles with obstacles near the main drainage outlets. Plus, I would of like it to float back at the top of the pool when it is finished because it is a bit too heavy for my mom to pick up from the bottom of the pool.Overall, this robot seems to be a reliable and efficient choice to keep my pool clean, making it way more fun than having to pass the vacuum in my pool.

Unboxing WYBOT C2 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner leaves me with a strong first impression of this product. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Setup of the app and connection to the cleaner were easily don't without having to refer to the documentation. I fully charged the unit which was partially charged out of the box. Operation of the device seems straightforward and easily controlled through the app. My pool is still covered for the winter and it will take a bit more time before I can open, do an initial cleaning, balance the water chemistry and get this baby int the water. Looking forward to a clean pool bottom. My pool doesn't get any leaves or heavy debris, but there are plenty to bugs that drop to the bottom. I'm looking forward to not having to fuss with the vacuum. I'll post an update to this review once I have everything up an running.

I have to manually clean my pool every single day last year. This year, I am not doing it no more. This robot will be fully replacing me.My in ground pool is in outdoor. My neighbor has a huge tree over laying into my backyard and right on top of my pool.I need to pick up leaves from my pool every single day when my pool is not covered. It is such a a pain.Leaves also make my pools algae grow much faster, and with the extremely hot weather in Texas, maintaining my pool is really a painful thing to me.This pool robot, costs $599. It is in the price range that I will consider buying. Those in mid thousand and over 2k, or 3k robots are just totally out of my budgets.I think this robot is considered very affordable to all the pool owners. It is also very effective. It does floor cleaning, wall cleaning and water line cleanings.Trashes are easy to remove from this robot.180 minutes of running time is great. It will clean my whole pool within that period of time.My pool is only 10k gallons of size.So this robot works way more than what I need, and that's exactly what I am looking for, because the big tree generates more leaves than other pool owners too.So bad that I couldn't even describe.Absolutely love this robot. It cleans really well!It really gets the job done for me.Durability is still undetermined.

To start this has a very impressive robotic mapping system. Probably one of the best that I have personally tested when it comes to automatic cleaners. I was shocked that if I had to put a number on it, it probably cleared about 99% of my pools bottom with ease.I have tested some were it lives almost a microscopic line between each pass through and its new line, I found this cleaner would start its path nicely on the edging of the pool, and when doing the next line it would have about 5% of itself in the old path line in order to avoid making those micro lines in its pass through.I have a 10X20 pool and this easily was able to get it cleaned in one battery life with some juice left over to spare. As for the cleaning abilities I had no complaints, It cleaned the bottom of my pool just as good as a cleaner would, and kept everything in its canister. I had no spillage or leakage from overflow. When emptying out the canister on the first clean it was about 50% full if that. So there is more then enough room for worse conditions.Speed wise it takes its time to say the least. But it is something you can just toss in and forget about it until it comes to you shallow end or alerts you that the job is completed.Vertical cleaning as very unique and took a moment to get use to. It did a great job again getting the walls just as clean as the bottom and this is where I think it shined in order to get such a good clean as it did get that tricky area where the liner folds from the bottom to the wall. It was just a bit of an adjustment seeing a robot climb up our pool walls.I have no complaints about this cleaner, it is just costly. I personally do say this is a luxury item more then a needed item. There are cheaper solutions but those solutions cost you your time in cleaning. So I put this at a time vs money investment. I can recommend it as it does save a lot of time, but more importantly it did just as good as a job then I could do manually and that is what makes me say it is worth while. As I did not have to go in manually and touch anything up myself.

Wybot is one of the best known names in the pool cleaning business and they make quality products up and down the price continuum. By the standards of robotic pool cleaners, this is not the 'top of the line' in terms of price and functionality. That said, it packs a lot of cleaning power into a well made device. In other words, it delivers significant 'bang for the buck'. That's something I've seen in a lot of Wybot devices--they deliver a product that you'd expect to pay more for.The first thing you'll notice about this device is that it looks and feels extremely durable. It does an exceptional cleaning job on all pool surfaces thanks to an independent pump motor and dual brushes. It delivers right around 180 minutes of battery life which is more than enough to clean a 2152 square foot pool. Equally impressive is that the battery recharges in just three hours. The filtration system does a great job getting any debris of significant size out of your pool. Cleaning the filters couldn't be easier--just remove them and hose 'em off.I've had a lot of experience with pool cleaning technology and one thing I frequently tell first time owners is to not expect too much out of an entry to mid level pool cleaner. The Wybot C2 is an exception--it can legitimately clean multiple pool surfaces, different shape pools, different materials, etc. That it can deliver such performance and versatility at a very reasonable price point is downright astonishing. Pool cleaning technology--like every other technology--will continue to advance but right now the Wybot C2 might be the best pool cleaning value available. Very highly recommended!

The Wybot C1 gets a thumbs up from me, it's a tie for first place in the mid grade category.I will also add that they have a newer model for 2025 - but I did a side-by-side comparison, and didn't notice any significant changes or upgrades. Same motors, same battery, same app functionality, etc.Ok, so here are my results after testing pretty much all the popular pool robots. My favorite in the high end category was the Beatbot. They have a several different models with a range of features, but even the basic BeatBot is great. This Wybot is in the mid range class, and for me it was a tie between the Wybot C2 and the Aiper Scuba S1.For the budget class, I like the Aiper Seagull or the Aiper SE. Keep in mind, though, these budget cleaners only work on flat bottom pools and above ground pools (no deep end). The fancier Beatbot is an amazing piece of tech. It has a hundred features, but that also means it has a hundred things that could go wrong. For example, it's got AI scanning, 30 sensors, basically a full computer on board. So I love it, but I also see the appeal of a simpler unit. This Wybot has quite a few features for a mid grade robot, but it's also built like a little tank and is very straightforward. It has one sensor instead of 30. So from a maintenance perspective, it's rather appealing.I'll start with some of my favorite features, and then compare to the Aiper:-This is the lightest mid grade robot I tested.-It is also one of the quickest charging - just 3 hours to charge, and runs for 3 hours.-It actually has 3 motors in there, and it scrubs, sweeps, and vacuums. The entry level robots have only one motor, they're smaller motors, and they only weep - they don't scrub. You need the scrubbers to get algae off.-It has the dual filter, which may sound trivial, but it's one of the first things I look at. People are often hyper focused on the battery life or the app, but actually the #1 complaint that pool robots receive is that they leave behind sand and small debris. The fact is, it doesn't matter how powerful the motor or how good the battery life if the filter doesn't catch the debris. So I like the efficiency and design of this filter. One of my favorite features was introduced last year, and only a small handful of brands offer it. The feature is the ability to leave the robot in the pool for up to a week, for vacation etc, and do a little bit of cleaning every day. So if you select the maximum (7 day option), it will do 45 minutes every other day, for 7 days.I think this has the edge over the Aiper in several areas. But I will admit the Aiper does a slightly better job with navigation and mapping. The Aiper has live sensors and also a memory, learns the best pattern for your particular pool, meaning it can clean quicker. Both are great options, though. Both do wall cleaning, floor cleaning, and waterline cleaning (the waterline around the edges). They do not skim - and I highly recommend checking into the solar skimmers. You can leave the solar skimmer in the water pretty much full time, and only remove it to empty it.It's an easy thumbs up - durable build quality, good overall value.

Unlike many pool robots, this robot has sticky rubber treads that let it climb the walls up to the waterline. When activated and submerged, it will drive around in random directions until its battery runs out. You then retrieve it with the included plastic hook. The robot is pretty large so it may be challenging to climb and clean the walls of a smaller pool or a pool with curved walls. That said, it's large size also means large wheels that let's it traverse underwater stairs. A plastic wheel on the underside helps it not get highsided on a drain. You can use Wybot's app to control the robot via Bluetooth, but it is only necessary if you want to change the cleaning mode. The default cleaning mode is to clean the walls and the floor, but there are other modes such as cleaning the floor only. The app let's you also use a "Turbo mode" to clean the pool floor if you also install a "ultrafine filter". This filter resembles a HEPA filter but it is reusable. Like the filter basket, it can be hosed off and used again. It does not turn on its pump if it is not in the water; it will turn off automatically after 3 minutes. The C2 seems to be a successor to Wybot's C1 model. For the C2, the label for the power button has been removed; it is just an anonymous, grey rubber button on the robot's top. Also, the C2's filter basket opens from the top, while the C1's basket hinges and swings open from the bottom. The C2's handle is now much longer, which is a plus, but it is now moved to the front of the device, which I feel is a step backward. I would have preferred that the handle was on the top of the unit was larger to make it easier to retrieve it from the bottom of the pool. Furthermore, the handle is now very close to the scrubbing fins, so much so that if you try to grab it with your hands while it is in operation, the fins will scrape against your hand. The kit comes with four float blocks with adhesive and a foam clip to hold them in, but I could not see any instructions on how to use them or when to use them. The suction seems quite strong. The debris is sucked into a reusable plastic cage on the rear of the unit.To charge it, you unscrew a cap on the top and plug it in. It's nice that the power outlet is protected with a screw cap unlike other robots where it is only protected with a rubber plug.

The C2 Pool Cleaner is a powerhouse that will literally transform your life. No more hassle with cleaning your swimming pool. I was lucky enough to be able to test it out in an indoor pool, as the temperatures outside are way too harsh at the moment. I can say that I'm very impressed and I can only imagine how useful this will be in the spring, summer and fall.It has powerful suction and dual filtration system, which ensures that the pool is cleaned thoroughly every time. The filter is super easy to remove and clean, which saves me a lot of time. What really stands out is the smart path navigation. The high-precision sensors make the cleaner follow an S-shaped path on the floor and an N-shaped path on walls, ensuring no spot is missed. The triple motors make it easy to cross over obstacles, and it works perfectly on all surfaces. The app control is fantastic, allowing me to set cleaning schedules and choose between seven different cleaning modes, including Turbo Floor for more intense cleaning. The extended battery life is more than enough to clean the whole pool - no need to worry at all.The C2 is also incredibly easy to use and store. It's compact, lightweight, and cordless, making it convenient to carry around. Cleaning the filters is a breeze - just press a button and rinse them with a hose. Overall, the WYBOT C2 makes pool cleaning routine hassle-free.Its powerful suction and dual filtration system, with both 180μm and ultra-fine filters, remove debris efficiently, leaving the pool sparkling clean. The filter is easy to remove, empty, and rinse, making maintenance hassle-free. I like the smart path navigation, which intelligently plans the cleaning route. It follows an S-shaped path for the floor and an N-shaped path for walls, ensuring every inch of the pool is cleaned. The triple motors also allow it to easily cross obstacles like drainage outlets and navigate different pool surfaces. The app control is a fantastic feature. I can schedule cleaning sessions and choose from various modes, like Turbo Floor for a deeper clean or Waterline Only when I just want to focus on the surface. The upgraded battery life of up to 180 minutes with a quick 3-hour is more than enough to be effective for cleaning everything.Another plus is its lightweight, cordless design, making it easy to store and move around. Plus, cleaning the filters is as simple as pressing a button and rinsing them off with a hose. Overall, this is a real machine!
