Stop way better than a cable brake. My custom gokart weight over 100ib and it lock up the rear end and drift the go cart. The old style drum and cable caliper brake can't even lock up or stop my go kart in time. Hydro brake is the way to go.

I had to cut the bracket and weld it to my existing brake bracket... i knew this going in because I couldn't find the same caliper that was on my knock off Grom. The steel was tough to cut (that's good) and easy to weld (also good). The caliper paint looks cool and holds up. Came with everything needed. Will buy again if i cant find replacement brake pads..not even worried because the cost is low.

I ordered this hoping it would fit my apollo db36 250cc dirt bike, it does not.... its way too small for the mounting bracket.seller should put in a picture or description of the items mounting brackets, the height of the bolt holes, and the distance between the bolt holes.
