For some reason I had a hard time finding 220 grit in a 12" disc, found these ones on Amazon.Still on my first one.Use for sharpening my joiner and planer blades, gives them a very shape edge.

these are the worst sanding pads I have purchased. The adhesive was dry and did not stick to the sander. I would not recommend this product to anyone

Great product for what I needed. Work with wood and these are top shelf discs. I will buy again when I need 12" media.

Very high quality and durable - lasts a shockingly long amount of time between changes

These pads are excellent. They have only been used for sharpening lathe chisels so far but they have maintained their grit after numerous sharpening. They stick well and come off without issue. Will buy again.

I've only used two of these so far. The first tore apart moments after installation, but it's possible I didn't notice a slight air gap under a portion of it during installation, which would have caught on the edge of the board I was rounding over. The second disk has been working just fine for some time and shows signs of having a reasonable life span. Of course, how long it provides good service will be dependent on if I continue to take time to clean it, when needed. For that, I use and recommend investing in the long rubber "eraser," which is designed for that purpose. That the second disk is still doing well supports the probability of operator error during installation being the cause of failure for the the first one. Of course, defect shouldn't be ruled out yet. Both disks ran or run on a Powermatic sander. It's a pretty serious sander, especially compared to the little Hitachi I used to have, so disks and belts have to be high quality to hold up.I'll try to update this report after time allows for a bit more experience with the disk.

Haved used several times and have been completely happy with the results. Would like a finer grit but have not found any yet.
