This seems like a nice tool that I was hoping to use to staple the replacement "leather" to my 1950's couch. I wish this came with staples or at least some information on what staples to get. So far I'm not having much luck. Guess this isn't a tool for armatures. It is lightweight.

First let me tell you what I do not like. They should have provided a small bottle of oil for the staple gun (not unusually for an air tool), Also could have provide a small box of staples ( third picture staples from Amazon) so again you would be able to use it as soon as it arrives. And finally they should have given the air pressure in PSI instead of KGf.Now the good stuff. As i wrote in the title this is a very nice compact staple gun. If you have small hands this would be perfect not that a larger hand would be bad. The staple gun head is small and would be really nice for tight spaces. Its easy to hold and very lightweight! the second picture shows a 2x6 with the staples in-bedded into the wood I used the gun continually without stopping to see if it would jam, IT DID NOT! Each staple require you to press the trigger (which is very easy) The WOODPECKER N7116 Upholstery Staple Gun does not have an auto firing feature meaning, to release a staple all you have to do is press the head down on the wood and a staple would be inserted. The gun require you to press the trigger after you place the gun head on the project. Loading the staples takes about 5 seconds. fast shipping and I nice tool to have around, Fast shipping.

This N7116 Upholstery Staple Gun is a 22-gauge 3/8" Crown 71-Series stapler that has excellent build quality. It is relatively low noise when using. It fires smoothly and I haven't had any jams. This, of course, is after I used my own oil to lubricate it and waiting for 71-series staples to arrive as not even a small quantity of either was supplied with the stapler. Also, note that I found that 71-series staples are much harder to find than T50's. Anyway, after inserting the staples which is easy, this stapler works very well, and I am happy with the quality and hold of the staples.

Staples (NONE included) are finer than I expected, but they will work for most purposes. Good selection available on Amazon, but none at all are carried by my local building supply. Reasonably quiet operation, good range of pressures. A knowledgeable friend told me that this is a well-respected brand name.

I have not use this as I do not yet have staples that fit it. I have a project in mind and Iām very excited to try it once I have the proper staples. I will update this review once I have been able to use it.

I like to stretch my own canvases for oil painting and using some sort of staple gun is part of the story. Over the years I have used those shiny chrome mechanical ones with the backward lever and more recently an electric staple gun. I hate them both. Whoever designed the mechanical version didn't seem to care that the end where you have to apply the most pressure to direct the staple is exactly the opposite end to where you have to apply the most squeezing pressure to the actuating lever. It makes your hand ache after about three staples. My old electric one is different. It has a hair trigger and a single minded vengeance against finger tips. One mistake and your pinky is part of the artwork. So what a joy to finally get a compressed air staple gun that does the job properly. I really wanted to love this stapler. REALLY wanted to love it. But I cannot try it out because although I have a drawer full of T50's and T30's I don't have any Series 71 22 Gauge Staples. Luckily you can buy them on Amazon so I will get a box. What the manufacturers didn't really make clear is that little gun is a fairly pure industrial device. The American home DIY and self-employed contractor industry is the dominant channel in tools and machines these days. In this channel tools are made tough and long lasting but they have a nod to the blundering dilettante like me and humor us simpletons with a bit of help. The instructions in this box would be laughable if they weren't dangerous. The staple gun is very very nicely made. It looks like some engineers who really cared, did a lovely job of assembling parts that really look authentic. All the metal components like the trigger and the staple slide have a solid ruggedness about them that will be long lasting and probably work really well. But they didn't include even a few staples to test it with. The gun has all the usual scolding and chiding. Like: don't staple other people or use explosive gases. In fact they say that in two different places on the gun. But nowhere on the gun is the spec for what staples to use. The instructions talk about nails and don't even mention staples. This is such a classic example of the geniuses in engineering (and no I am not being sarcastic) being stifled by the dim wits in marketing who barely even know what country they are selling into.On last thing. Maybe the world of upholstery is still some sort of Dickensian world of maiming and injury but this gun does not have a dead man's trigger. All my other nail guns will not fire until the safety nose is pushed up against something hard. This has no safety. Watch your eyes!5 stars for engineering. Minus 5 stars for marketing and communications.

It did not come with Staples so you will have to purchase some before you use this tool. Uphostery tool.

All the tools I have ever purchased came with fasteners that fit the tool. And while I have staples for other staplers none fit this. Searching on Amazon brought up very few that even might work with this. Unfortunately no variety pack so at about 20 bucks a box I will have to spend more than the tool costs. Feels like a solid tool. Will update when I actually get some staples and find any issues.
