Super cute & true to size

I bought the dark navy blue in size 14. i am about 5'6 and around 175 pounds. They were a half inch too long, but I have some platform wedge boots that can give me a lift so they don't touch the floor / ground. I reccommend them for taller women. The high waist is nice, even for a first term pregnancy bump. They are fitted. The fabric is thin and sheer so size up if you are worried about ripping a seam. This brand will get longer when you size up, so size up one of you are super tall for kore length. I bought them for the law office when i work as an animal rights activist, part time. I paid a promotional lower price because mine were open box, without the branded dust cover poly bag, but tags still attached. I would not pay the full retail asking price. They probably could be altered an inch shorter on the bottom hem if I want to wear flats. They would look nice with kitten heels, any platform heel, or rhinestone pumps. The reason I needed navy blue is because it's the suggested uniform color at the law office where I get a per diam. So, it's office casual. I would wear these to the community meetings, but not to court. I might get the lighter blue also, in a size up and down, in case I gain or loose weight. These are not really stretchy and they are thinner material than zac and rachel, concepts, old navy chino, ava & viv and lane bryant / catherines. I am a pear / apple body shape so these fit well. I plan to loose some weight and when they are too big I can donate them. these are not the jersey jet set material like qvc / hsn brands. I have not washed them to see of they fade or shrink. the tone is pretty dark indigo not a bright classic navy. They are also good for July or nautical styles. They are nice fall / winte and even spring / summer, year around. I forgot if they have belt loops. I will wear boxer shorts under to help prevent pilling.
