Worked fine for 2 years. Today it simply would not unlock. I had to saw it off my steering wheel (which was easier than you might expect). This could have been a much greater hassle under different circumstances. The Club I bought in 1992 is still working flawlessly on our other car. That is why I stayed with the brand. Now I am looking for an alternative.

Had these for years, but it was only the one arm. With the twin ‘claws’ it holds more securely and makes it even harder to tamper with the vehicle. Visual deterrent too! Was surprised how easy it goes on and easy to take off. Use a key ONLY to unlock, once off (unlocked) you DoNOT need a key. Just position it and slide it on. It locked at that point. Genius! And Fast to put on/off. Recommend A+. Mark 😀

Good quality I have one in my truck that I have used for about 5 years everywhere I Go, it's still functions perfectly, so I bought my girlfriend one, you just have to be careful putting it on and taking it off of your steering wheel or you could damage it from doing it so much otherwise it's perfect 😁 easy to use, good security, and not too heavy. , it enables me to leave my truck running with my dog in it and not have to worry.

I purchased this for my 2019 Honda CR-V, which apparently is coveted by car thieves. I did my research and found this steering wheel lock. Along with a faraday box, faraday key pouches and an OBD lock, I have a little peace of mind. It is fairly hefty. I like the double claw that hook son the steering wheel. It locks and unlocks easily enough. I have not had an attempt to steal my vehicle so I cannot speak to how effective it is, but I hope it is a deterrent.

I like this brand and model. Works nicely and was able to make a copy of key for emergency (need to bring steering lock in to locksmith). Like I said 2nd one bought, now both cars have steering locks

There have been a lot of car thefts in my area. I purchased this as a deterrent! I noticed someone attempted to get into my vehicle one day, that was the reason for this purchase. After this, I haven’t noticed anyone tampering with my vehicle anymore. Whether they got bored or saw this I don’t know, but it makes me feel better with having it in my vehicle as extra security! It’s easy to open and secure, especially without needing a key to do so. Easy to unlock and store when you need to take it off. Be careful when grabbing it, because it is not locked in place when not in use! You will pull it apart and then have to use the key to put it back in.

The product description doesn't tell you this, but here's the difference between the yellow version and the black/gold version. According to The Club's Website (Winner International), the black/gold version has a "New & Improved Lock Housing for added strength." If you compare the pictures of both version, you will see that the black/gold version does indeed have a beefier lock housing than the one on the yellow version.I wish the hooks were deeper, which would prevent the Club from being wiggled out of the steering wheel if the Club isn't extended to its absolute maximum length when locking the steering wheel. (I saw a YT video where a bunch of people were able to wiggle a The Club out of the steering wheel.) It takes some effort to extend it to its maximum length (the 4th notch on my steering wheel), but once it's in place at the maximum extended length, it would take a lot to get it out of the steering wheel -- enough to deter most thieves.A thief can of course saw an opening to your steering wheel and remove The Club that way. The steering wheel is made of a relatively soft material that a hack saw can work its way through quite easily. But we're talking about SLOWING a thief down and deter theft -- not prevent it, which is impossible, If a thief wants your vehicle bad enough, they'll find a way to steal it.I also have an alarm and clutch lock. And I plan on installing a kill switch. Remember to layer your security. The Club by itself is a weak to moderate deterrent, but combine that with an alarm and other security layers working in concert and you've got a formidable security system that would deter MOST thieves. Take it from someone who's already had two cars stolen (both Hondas) and who's had several cars broken into on numerous occasions.:-/Good luck.

I have used "The Club" devices on all of my vehicles for over a decade now. As a result, I am pleased to say that I have never had any of my vehicles stolen or even tampered with for that matter. The Club 3100 is well made and offers additional protection over the classic version of this device. One advantage is that when you place the Club across your steering wheel and it extend it, the device automatically locks in place. This feature has been included in some later models, which seem to no longer be offered. The double-hook design allows the device to fit much more securely in and around your steering wheel. To remove the device, one must remove it with the use of the included key.Besides being a visual deterrent to thieves, the Club 3100 is made of heavy gauge material and is sure to last for many years. As a Testament, all of the club devices that I have purchased over the years are still functional and work just fine. I have transferred them from one vehicle to another over the years. The bottom-line is that this device is simple to use and for many it is sure to protect your second most valuable investment, your car.
