At random, I bought several 1-lb bags of espresso roast beans from a variety of providers around Amazon trying to find my perfect bean…and a small business to support. Of the five, wink blonde espresso was definitely number one. The flavor is rich, smooth and makes my lattes and Americano’s noticeably tastier than the others I’ve tried. I use a Breville machine and I also appreciate that the beans are not oily - like ZERO oils - reducing the build up in the grinder. Very pleased.

As a Vine reviewer I take my reviews seriously, just like I take my coffee and espresso. This has to be the worst espresso I have ever had. It is rancid, bitter, acidic and taste like a ton of lemon peel was dumped into it. After my first attempt in our Breville espresso machine I thought maybe I had made it wrong but after the second go I dumped all of the beans out and got as many out of the machine as possible. I made it perfect as in just the right pressure, grind and amount of coffee. This is just horrible espresso and if I had to imagine what cat urine tasted like, it would taste like this.

I love my coffee black and typically make a single cup each morning just for myself, as my wife doesn't drink coffee. I am always searching for a lighter roasted coffee with a good flavor profile, as I love the taste of good fresh coffee, but I also want the higher polyphenol count that you get from a lightly roasted coffee. Some light roast are also light on flavor though...As you can see in the picture, the color is light, but cloudy since I brewed this in a french press. The complexity is great, with citrus and sweet notes while still retaining the nutty and toasty flavors typical with a light roast. Even brewed in a french press, this coffee is light-bodied and doesn't leave any lingering bitterness on the tongue. In fact, even when I sip a little of the sediment typical with a french press brew I am not tasting any bitterness. So, that tells me this is a fresh coffee.I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee and even happier to learn that it is roasted in Austin Texas as I live in San Antonio, so I can always get a new shipment quickly. Not sure if they have a shop in Austin, but I will definitely check into to it the next time I travel there.I only wish they had a decafe option so I could send some to a good friend of mine who is a coffee lover as well, but has been told by his doctors that he should only drink decafe. It is hard to find good options in that space.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Wink Coffee's Blonde Espresso Beans, and I must say, it's been a delightful experience from start to finish.First and foremost, the quality of the beans is truly exceptional. From the moment you open the bag, you're greeted with a rich, aromatic scent that promises something special. The beans themselves are perfectly roasted, showcasing the dedication to quality that Wink Coffee prides itself on.When it comes to taste, these beans truly shine. The Blonde Espresso offers a beautifully balanced flavor profile. It's not too overpowering, allowing the subtle nuances to come through. I detected hints of citrus and a gentle sweetness, making every cup a pleasant surprise. Whether you enjoy it as an espresso shot or as the base for your favorite coffee drinks, it never disappoints.I'm so impressed with Wink Coffee's Blonde Espresso Beans that I've already added them to my reorder list. They've become a staple in my coffee routine, and I can't imagine starting my day without them. If you're searching for high-quality beans with a fantastic taste, I highly recommend giving these a try. You won't be disappointed!

Look, I’m a bit of a coffee snob. I used to work at a locally owned coffee shop who roasted their own beans locally, which opened my senses up to what good coffee really is. And I’m here to tell you, this ain’t no Starbucks, middle-of-the-mall coffee.I got an espresso machine in February 2021. My fiancée loves “blonde roast” espresso from Starbucks, but I know how low quality the beans from there are. So I took a chance on this Blonde Espresso roast. BTW The Blonde ESPRESSO is better than just the Blonde Roast, and I’ll tell you why. When I opened the bag, the aroma is very fresh. But most importantly, when I grind it up into my little portafilter, the fruitiness, the sweetness, the citrus, all of it just gently blesses my nose in a way that no other beans have. Even the beans I worked with at the local coffee shop didn’t bless me this way. There’s a boldness to it, but it’s not overpowering by any means. You can tell these are made in small batches bc of the beautiful smell, whole and ground. The Blonde Roast is different bc it doesn’t have as lovely of an aroma as the espresso beans do.It’s also a really great price! I’ll be a forever customer. Even if you use a drip coffee maker, pour over/Chemex, or French press, whatever your method is, take a chance on this. You won’t regret it!! Thanks Wink!

Tastes great so far. Not oily at all like others are saying, actually the opposite they seemed too dry to be espresso beans. I ordered February 10th 2020 and received a Best by date of June 2021. The problem is that there is no roasted date listed. They could be a week old or 6 months... who knows! The idea that they think high quality espresso beans are good for 18 months at the very least is concerning, though. I would give 5 stars if a roasting date was posted!
