Works excellent on my shotgun rail, the threads on the little plates are kind of a pain to get started at first with the screws provided but once you get them going it's not too bad. It does fit rather well on a shotgun rail and does stay pretty stable as well. The picatinny rail itself is great quality however the the plates are kind of thin. Overall the design is pretty good and gets what I need done.

Pretty smart way to mount stuff if you ask me. I love how this mount looks and feels (both in my hand and on my gun). I’m not a fan of raising scopes or sights at all because it messes with the distance. A scope/sight mounted close to the barrel has a bigger zero window than one that’s raised higher. If you raise it, you have to adjust a lot more down range. And this mount sits LOW. It’s small which I also like since on this gun I don’t want/need a lot of extras. Some guns I like looking like a utility knife with all kinds of accessories, but not this one. It makes it look clean and neat.
