Nice product, if your spreaders tips are an inch or so, get the large size. Medium is quite small.

I'm having a problem with these, actually. They look good and they fit perfectly. But, they are a little sticky. My headsail is getting hung up on the spreader when I tack and not passing to the other side. I actually got my genoa backwinded and stuck on the spreader boot and it tore the sail.

These are well-made boots but the size is a little small. I have an Eriscon 27 sailboat and the medium boots would not close around spreader by a long shot. Order size larger than you think.

They were fine how well they last on the boat is to be determined. The bolt through the strap that retains the shroud line stops the boot from closing completely. Either the way the shroud attachment was designed or the boot being shallow is the issue for me. So giving the boot the benefit of the doubt I say the spreader design is the problen.

Its a spreader boot. Whats to say?The manufacturer claims a 7/8th to 2 in fitment. Well 7/8ths would be snug. Mine at 1 3/8ths has quite the gap. I simply dont see how it could even pretend to make it on a 2 inch spreader bar though. It would be like trying to put your foot into your 2 year olds shoe lol.That said the shipping was prompt and I would deal with this seller again. Its not them that make the size specs after all.

We secured them with nylon zip-ties, with an over-wrap of self-adhering rubber tape. These replaced medium spreader caps of similar design that were a bit of a stretch to fit. Arrived quickly. Very good quality.

These fit my Catalina Capri 14.2 perfectly. I also bought the white sail tape to attach and wrap the ends after placing them over the shrouds.
