The Bake Element is for electric ovens on ranges and replaces 704161, 7406P427-60, AH2082040, EA2082040, PS2082040, W10314702. Received heating element and installed it right away. Super easy to install. It fits in just like the old one. Works great! I started baking right away! Oven keeps heat now! Just FYI…the picture on Amazon looks like it only has one end. It doesn’t. It has both ends and they both fit in perfectly. I guess the picture got cut off?? Also FYI..It does NOT come with screws so keep your old ones from the unit you are replacing.

One of the heating elements in the upper oven of my Maytag Gemini had burned and stopped working. This was the correct replacement and easy enough to switch out with the help of some YouTube tutorials.

It fit our oven perfectly, took about 15 minutes to install including turning off the breaker box which is in our basement. It works, had a funny smell when first turned on, but that is to be expected. It dissipated in just a few minutes. So far it's working well, but I have only used it twice. I don't see why it won't continue to perform well. Good to have our little oven back in working order!

Original lasted 10 years. Replacement part lasted 6. Happy overall but would be nice if the replacement part lasted longer.Very easy to replace. Screwdriver is all you need.

I liked the relative ease of installation. I looked carefully at the replacement part, and saw that it was designed to be attached to two female leads. So I unscrewed the existing heating element (save the screws, the replacement unit I got did not include screws). I carefully tugged at each side to get to the leads connecting the heating element. They were obscured by insulation, and I could see if I had not been careful here that it would have been very difficult to retrieve those connectors if they slid back into the body/insulation of the stove. After making sure the leads would not pull back into the stove, I attached the new heating element, and screwed it back in. That was it. Total time was about 5 minutes. I turned the oven on to verify that the new element worked correctly, and it did. It did give off a smell for a few minutes after it got heated up, but nothing really obnoxious.

Always, ALWAYS disconnect any electrical appliance from a source of energy before you attempt to repair it. Nuff said. This element is exactly as described, functions well. I ordered this top element for my stove and installed it with some modifications. It fits a standard oven, my stove has two ovens and the upper element is shaped different in the two oven stove. I modified the mount and it works great. If you have a double oven you need to look for the correct part. This problem was enterely my fault, but I made it work. Great service from the vender and amazon.
