I bought these to replace my broken shimano axle, after 3 hard years of beating the crap out of it while i got my feels back for MTB, it finally broke.I searched around for the best one that could find after bending and breaking 2 other QR through axles, which was what was originally on my MTB, this was it.I decided to go with a solid axle instead. This is my third wheel master hub axle. They just bend after one good hard ride.I replace it after every hard run or several uphill climbs.Definitely not what they used to be and what I used to be able to purchase for a standard solid axle.what can you do for 10-15$? not muchCheap metals and zero quality solid or QR axles to purchase. It should be 5$, because it's a through awayThese are definitely not hardened or crome-alloy steel

When you pay $15 for a new axle, you will get better product then a $10 axle. 3 times better. Spend the extra $5 and get American made. PERIOD!

You will need them with this....just toss the ones that come with it and use your old stuff.

The axle cones are not round and clearly will interfere with the ball bearing movement. The axle is a bit light and I didn’t trust it to use on my bike.Stick with a proven, name brand.

I thought that It was the Axle I needed to repair the rear tire but the rim it self was bent

This is an awesome axle and I love it. I thought the axle on my new wheel would be too short, plus when I got the new wheel I noticed the axel from my new wheel compared to the one I bought was 5mm longer, so I returned it.

I needed a good shaft with new bearing surfaces, for the rear wheel, this solves the problem. I got a few, I needed the bike strong, I can put a rear axle on the front of these new bicycles. I used the old rear wheel, for the front, after I changed the shaft & bearings. I do not have to worry about 300 lbs destroying these bearings. The bearings I bought in a 10 pack, for the same price, that I could get only one bearing, from a bicycle shop. Bearings are 1/4 inch balls in a 7 slot retainer. They had to be bought separately.

I had ordered this part by mistake. It looks just like the picture, so it was my mistake. Actually I needed the crank axle (3P type).
