These name cards are very pretty, thick, and look great on a table, either folded like a tent (they are pre-creased for this) or in a placecard holder. Their blue and white floral theme looks great with Delftware, Chinoiserie, or many other styles.They are made of glossy paper, though. I did a test to see if ink would smear or not immediately after writing (or if you are a lefty). Only the standard Bic Stic pen didn't smear. If you are going to use liquid ink, gel or paint pens, or any type of calligraphy pen, start making them early and prepare for ample drying time so they don't smear.

Love these beautiful cards. The paper is soft and thick and the printed Chinoiserie flowers are gorgeous. Using them for a bridal shower luncheon. Wrote on them with a metallic blue marker for the names and it was easy to write on the paper.
