I used one for the bow as a docking light and being waterproof, used the other under my stern diving platform for swimming at night and can also observe the out drive and prop. I use a double switch to change from white to blue light as needed.

Installed 6 of these lights on my fixed boat top this past weekend. For the price, I think the pair of lights is a great value overall. Super bright and a pair runs on less than 5A @ 12VDC. (I bought the white only lights, not the blue/white combo lights which I see a lot of people complaining about below)As far as the installation, all 3 of the boxes I bought came with the proper hardware. The assembly of the bracket to the light is a little tricky, just build in some extra time to assemble them. The nut is really tiny and has to go into a small space in the back of the light. Unfortunately, the light housing is not manufactured in a way that would make the alignment of the nut to the cap screw very easy. That's my only complaint so far.I would buy again.

The lights are very bright mounted on front of pontoon boat. Not sure why, but sometimes they come on much dimmer. Cycle switch on/off until bright again.

Haven’t had a chance to install them yet but they seem like a quality product that will do the jobThe only thing I would have liked was a little longer lead wires to allow the connection to be hidden behind something and out of sight

the light looked good out of the box. after starting the install process, it was discovered that the mounting process/fasteners are different for each light, box only included hardware for 1. not a big deal, if you have the time to spend making them work but, i will no longer spend my time fixing or modifying crap products.
