I used this to extend the chain of a WESTINGHOUSE chandelier. The color & link size were spot on. There are no convenience links so you have to pry the links apart to connect it, same on the chandelier. That’s a pain to deal with & if you aren’t careful you could mar the links. It worked out ok but, truly was a pain, especially to re align the link in a strait manner after bending it open.

How hard is this? I ordered BRONZE to match the bronze hanging basket.I received BLACK. Yep, that’ll work. Not worth the aggravation of sending it back so I’ll give a local big box store my business.FOLLOW-UP: Welp - (See Second Picture) against my better judgment (but with my wife's orders) I again purchased this chain in Bronze. Today, it again arrived in BLACK. Now, to be fair, the back of the packaging does say "Oil Rubbed Bronze Finishing" but in what world does this chain appear to be "bronze finishing"? The hanging hook recommended by Amazon to go with the chain is placed alongside the packaging for comparison. BLACK chain, or has dementia set in?I guess I'm making a bigger issue out of it than necessary, other than two weeks of wasted time and I'm now out ten bucks (PLUS the cost and trouble of going to buy a can of bronze spray paint.)Don't buy the 'Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish' fixture chain. Unless you really want a black chain.

Good solid chain that now supports our antique chandelier in our dining room. The chain is a little thinner that what I was replacing but easily support my light. The links were easy to open and close with tools to adjust the length and attach to the ceiling and lamp. If I had a complaint, it would be about the color. It is very dark, almost black. Does not detract in my situation.

We bought a dining room light which was way too short. We ordered this chain to extend it lower and it worked perfect. The oil rubbed bronze coloring matched almost perfect with the light we were needing this for.

I bought this to hang a lantern but the links are so hard, I could not cut them with a pair of pliers.

Mighyt fine strong chain! Love the look and turned out great for my diy chandelier project. It's a bit short but perhaps comes in a longer size. At this price you cab buy more than one pack and use pliers to link them together. Beware, these chains are really tough!!

Purchased this chain to hang a decorative candlelit lantern... it looks good and its gauge does not show how strong and sturdy this chain really is. I have no fears of it breaking for the weight that it carries... I do find the price a bit high for the item, but shopping Amazon saved me the time and effort to locate one locally at a retail store... everything has its trade-off.
