Maybe this is premature but I give this paddle TEN STARS! Granted, I am upgrading from a cheap, box store paddle. ...I took it out for a few hours today. Wind gusts up to 21mph, crazy motor boaters everywhere. The wind and waves hardly slowed me down. I traversed twice my normal mileage with no fatigue at all. I will be able to explore much further :D I am easily able to keep up with every one else now too! This paddle is amazing! It is so lightweight, felt powerful and smooth cutting through the water. I truly felt like I was in a new kayak! I also didn’t get soaked like I did with my old paddle (drip guards and all). I’m in love 😍 Worth every penny!

My first kayak I bought $180 Werner. I thought, why in the world would I want to pay that much for a paddle? There is a major difference between a $25 and these Werner paddles when you're paddling for hours at a time.$280 is a bit expensive for me, but it is a very nice paddle and a couple ounces lighter than my first Werner paddle. Don't think I would try any other paddles after using a Werner paddle. The power and comfort is worth it, if you're doing long paddling.

The paddle is feather light and peals through the water effortlessly. Tested it out on lake Superior pictured rocks lakeshore and the 4-hour trek was wonderful and the fatigue factor was almost nil. I have carpel tunnel syndrome and only at the very end did I have to shake life back into my fingers. Highly recommend the Werner Camano to any sea kayaker.

This is a great paddle. It's very light compared to what I am used to. I purchased the red bladed version and it has great looks. Infinitely variable pitch adjustment for those who adjust for paddling against the wind. I nice strong spline connection makes this paddle handle rock solid with absolutely no wiggle.
