I hate driving t-posts. I live in north central Texas, where the clay soil can be almost as hard as concrete in the summer time. Trying to drive a t-post with a manual driver is the quickest way to sweat every drop of moisture out of your body, leaving you feeling like a dried-out husk of a human being.I have an SDS-Max demo hammer that I bought a while back for installing ground rods and breaking up old concrete. Out of desperation I modified a ground rod driver to use for driving t-posts, but it was precarious and had sharp edges that made using it a little risky. When I saw this tool pop up on Amazon I knew I had to have it. Last week I enlarged our chicken yard and drove two dozen t-posts. The job would have taken hours with a manual driver, but with this attachment for my SDS hammer it took just a few seconds to punch each post into position. This was ESPECIALLY handy for the 8 foot posts that hold up the overhead netting in the chicken yard. Trying to use a manual driver on a ladder would have been super unpleasant! If you use t-posts regularly this is a must-have tool, just pair it with a relatively inexpensive SDS-Max hammer and you're good to go!

Make sure you have a large hammer drill, the smaller ones are not good at driving ground rods. This attachment works well. Good value, have drive! 2 rods with it.

Excellent!I had the idea to use this with my impact hammer drill to "hammer" 1" and 3/4" PVC pipes under sidewalks. I works so much better than sledge hammering the pipes under a sidewalk. It is very strong and I expect it will outlast my drill.

This sounded too good to be true. I've been driving posts in around the property and other properties for years using the good old manual (heavy) post driver. I needed to put some posts in for a fence and have been dreading it because my shoulder has been acting up. This attachment for my rotary hammer drill worked AMAZING!!! I was skeptical, but this thing delivered!! It's not cheap metal. It's heavyweight. You will not be disappointed

Great value for great price. Was worried that the quality of metal would cause it to warp while driving the ground rods but it has held up fine after 6 jobs so far.
