About Weaver
Founded by Harry A. Weaver in 1973 as the Fryburg Shoe Shop, Weaver grew from humble beginnings into the trusted manufacturer of a wide range of leather and nylon goods it is today. In the beginning, Harry concentrated on shoe repair, but before long he recognized the potential to expand into other markets. The fledgling company began handcrafting leather horse and cattle halters. The popularity of these halters led to the manufacture of more and more items prompting Weaver to become a driving force across various industries including equine, livestock, leather supply, pet, arborist, tool gear and custom manufacturing.

I got the 3/4” but it’s more like 1”. Provides good cushion for my horses back. Doesn’t slip out of place. I cut it down easily with scissors to suit my Aussie saddle.

i got this and took off the tags without thinking. i ended up never using it because it’s soooooo thick. it shouldn’t even be considered a saddle pad liner because it was almost as thick as all of my saddle pads

Nice pad liner, we used under a wool blanket for a wide, flat backed horse. Love that it is wool for a good price. We try to always use wool on our horses, they just seem to be more comfortable in wool than synthetic materials.

I bought this to use as a pressing mat. I searched for a 100% wool saddle pad and in the questions there was an answer that it was 100% wool. Sadly, I do not believe it is. The very first time I pressed some of my quilt pieces on it, I got a layer of gunk coated on my iron. Also, there is a terrible odor when pressing. I would not recommend it for a pressing mat. As a saddle pad, it is probably fine.

Was very disappointed with this felt pad. The quality is very poor, the shape was all wrong for the horse and it wasn’t what I wanted. Get what you pay for.

This is the liner pad with the brown binding along the spine and cut out for cinches. For some reason, both products have switched images. So read the description before buying.Lovely pad. Was just what I needed. Soft, I use it as a liner with my other pad under the saddle or as a bareback pad.

I layered this pad with a thin pattered blanket underneath for a low withered horse. It worked great! It did not slid around at all and kept the pressure evenly spaced all around. It is also soft so it formed to his curves really well
