About this item

  • The Stanford Aluminum Post Kit makes installation simple. Each post includes a post cap, post skirt, and has a base plate for mounting to the surface of the decking.
  • For 36" tall railing use 38" posts for straight runs and 45" posts for each side of the stairs. For 42" tall railing, use 44" posts for straight runs and 54" posts for each side of the stairs.
  • The posts may be trimmed down as needed on site.
  • Fasteners are not included for installing to the decking or concrete surface. Additional blocking may be required.

I used this product before and the only complaint I have is that you need to mount the rail drill the holes that support the rail than take it apart so that you can put the cover on the bolts. Other wise it is a great product.Thanks,Ed
