Replaced the bad GPS antenna on my cars head unit with this one, works great now

Coating on antenna wire not uv resistant. Within a short time out in the heat and Sun on my car, any portion of the wire exposed to UV/ sunlight, the insulation started to disintegrate and crumble off. Still working but looks like crap. But it was cheap, so there is that. I may just wrap the wire with some electrical tape for the time being as it is past the return date to get a replacement.
