Product is very shallow and the house can only go in a few inches before it hits the magnetic seal. Hose cannot go deep enough into drain pipe to confidently stay in place.

This is a great product for the need. I moved into a townhouse with a totally janky setup for the washing machine drain line. Someone had used tape to make a crude seal for the drain hose going into the PVC. Really not good. This thing fixed the problem quicker than you can say tout de suite! It has a one-way valve so water can’t get back out. Great design! Just measure your pipe and get the appropriate size.

Tenía miedo de que no llegara, por ser de un vendedor chino, pero llegó en tiempo y forma y ajusta bien para la medida común que se usa en México de 1 1/2", aunque no creo que funcione bien sin el aditamento de la lavadora para fijar la manguera, pues habría que meter mucho la manguera en el tubo (para que se sostenga bien y no se bote con la presión al centrifugado) y ya no tendría mucho sentido el tapón al fondo que aisla el drenaje.

This worked perfect for the intended use. We were getting sewer smell through the washer drain pipe. And less than five minutes, I was able to push this into the pipe opening and push the end of the washer drain hose into the center hole without having to cut it larger. No more sewer smell coming up around the opening. Great value for the money.
