I bought a used Crate 32V tube amp. This model has 30W output using 4 EL84 tubes in a class A configuration. I received it loaded with a 25W speaker I didn't trust. Replaced it with the WGS ET-65. Now I don't worry about blowing a vintage speaker. It sounds great, this amp rocks.

I built two 1x12 theile speaker cabs to use as 1x12 or stacked as 2x12 cab, one cab has the et65 and the other has a reaper hp. I have been using them in a Blackstar mkll ht5r and my ears are still ringing as I write this after practicing with my Gibson yesterday. The reaper hp compliments the et65 great to my now deff ears.

It was a perfect fit to replace the speaker in my custom made cabinet.

Just installed this in my blues jr 3, no fitment issues at all. And let me just say it turns the bj3 into an absolute sonic wonderland. I’m you are looking to significantly upgrade your blues jr, look no further than this speaker. Amazing bass, great mids, and sparkly highs. 10/10 would recommend!

I built a speaker cab from a bee hive box, solid pine box, mortise and tenon joint (also from amazon) during the pandemic. Used an old Celestion I had lying around. Replaced with the ET65...Sounds great. Love it. Would recommend, great price and quality.

For me, the ET-65 replaces a Celestion G12H-30 in a 1x12” cab. Impressive straight out of the box.I use this cab with a couple different Custom built 18w Marshall Style heads, as well as a Tweedle Dee/Tweed Deluxe home built head. I like it better than the G12H it replaced. The G12H is a good speaker too, so that is an indicator of how much I like the ET-65. In my application, it’s a nicely balanced speaker with firm lows and it isn’t as boomy as the G12H can be at times. It seems to have a slight peak in the mids, which I like. The highs are not shrill or ice pick bright. It’s got a sweet, yet controlled high end. Compared to the G12M-25’s in one of my other cabs, and the limited run Celestion G12C-25’s in another cab, the ET-65’s have a little better sensitivity, and seem firmer in the low end. All three are excellent. In many ways the ET-65 is somewhat similar to the G12M & G12C, perhaps a touch brighter on top, and maybe not quite as mid focused, with firmer lows. I’ve never used a G12-65 so I can’t compare, but I would trade the four G12T-75’s in my 4x12 for the ET-65’s any day. And compared to the V30’s I had a while back, even tho I don’t find them similar at all, the ET-65’s are so much better to me than the V30’s.Overall this is an excellent speaker for my applications & I would not hesitate to recommend it. It’s a very sweet speaker and an excellent value.

I was fortunate enough to have my amp modded by the guy who took over for Bill M. about a year ago. Those mods were pretty great, but this speaker has put this amp into another league. I don't know what else to say but there are several people on YouTube who recommend this speaker and they are not wrong. It totally eliminates the brittle treble spikes that are such a part of the Blues Jr.. I'm shocked at what a difference a speaker can make.
