We have a small recessed area at the front door of our new house, and I knew I wanted a hall tree for the space. I measured it and found this perfect one -- the dimensions were just what I needed. Unfortunately I must have measured wrong (entirely possible) or perhaps the hall tree was a bit longer than stated. Whatever the case, it doesn't fit --- it's just an inch or two longer than the space. You can't imagine how upset and frustrated that made me.Aside from that, the hall tree LOOKS great, exactly what I wanted. The gray barn-wood-look is cute and trendy. I love that the bench is strong enough for us to sit on while putting on shoes. I keep clean masks on the hooks, and a basket on the top shelf to hold masks that need a wash. The angled shelves add interest and a bit of sturdiness to the piece. I really like it, just need to find another spot to keep it!

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars overall is the fact that when putting the bench on after the shelves and everything else, the “B” screws weren’t quite long enough to screw the bench to the metal board thingy. So I had to take out 4 “A” screws from the shelves to screw the bench in. I ended up super gluing the shelves on one side because of this. Overall though, it works great. It was easy to assemble and holds my weight and everything else. Totally worth it!

I absolutely love this piece. Those who had trouble putting it together neglected to look for the double holes to see which tall support (3) almost identical, is the center piece, These are the only pieces that are not marked with stickers. The center piece has double holes about 15" up to support both the bench and the adjacent shelf. No need to go drilling new holes without looking first. The powder coat is very nice, and the coat hooks are solid with inserts that go straight through to the back hiding the screws. Its fits very snug, not wobbly and shows off its value much higher than the price.I have also purchased others similar items from this company. Very pleased with quality for the price point. Thank you.

I was looking for an item like this but most were too small and would be drowned in my front hall, this one is perfect tho. Well made, everything lines up and when built it’s very strong. I’ve hung a metal grid on mine (also from Amazon) to hang things off and the two items together are perfect for shoes, jackets, bags and keys for a family of 4. Wooden look seat is much stronger than I thought it would be too.

I assembled by myself. I honestly thought it was pretty easy. Getting the wood in to make the bench was the hardest part bc it didn’t fit until I loosened the nails around it. I really like it. It’s not as tall as I expected but definitely Does the trick. I bought it when it was high priced at like 180$ but now the price has dropped to 146$. This product goes up and down in price almost daily. It’s very sturdy but only problem is I can’t mount it to the wall bc I have floor molding that sticks out from the wall a good amount. So it’s not letting me mount the product to my wall without having the front legs up in the air. I don’t have kids so I’m not worried about it falling down. Feels like a future problem I can resolve one day. Anyway I recommend ! Very cute, can hold my shoes under it, I have a basket for my mail and a bowl for my keys with a pretty plant added as well.

I’d been looking for a little hall tree for my entryway so we could stop using the dining room table/chairs as a catch all area and I think this is the perfect fit with space for coats/bags/shoes but also some decorative shelves for adding plants and pictures. The faux wood in slate grey is pretty neutral, not too cool or cheap looking.I was afraid it would be kind of awkward to walk into when coming through the front door, but it’s really not. It’s not clunky and cumbersome like a lot of other options I had looked at, and keeps the front entryway feeling light/open.It seems pretty sturdy and was easy to assemble. I did it mostly on my own in about an hour altogether (and I’m on the little side...just needed my husband to anchor to the wall). The quality is in line with the price - not a ~forever piece of furniture, but cute/trendy and serves its purpose well.

Living in rural Alaska, it’s hard to find things like this that will ship here, so kudos to the seller. It also shipped very quick, which I appreciate. The product was adequately packaged, so there was no damage to any pieces. All parts were there, and tools were included other than a Phillips head screwdriver. Assembled pretty easily, although I had to go back and fix one piece right off the bat due to instructions not being super clear. Although if I paid closer attention prior to inserting the screws, it could have been avoided. All screws fit and holes properly aligned. Color was as expected. Took me two episodes of American Horror Story and a 6 pack and it was completed... (so 2 hours solo). I didn’t mount it to the wall, because I feel it’s pretty sturdy on it’s own. Would recommend!

This hall tree worked out absolutely PERFECT for our entrance area. I put it together by myself. (A 66 yr old grandma :-) Each section was marked with a number, each screw set for various sections in different bags - tools necessary were included. IF you read directions, this was simple to put together. It took me about 45-55 minutes and I was taking my time. It was like putting a simple numbered puzzle together. It is a VERY sturdy piece of furniture. I found no need to bolt it to the wall, although those parts are included for that purpose. The piece goes well with my other furniture - which includes distressed wood and metal (industrial style) and a someone eclectic mix of antique and "what-ever I like". The pressed wood color is just as the picture shows and is great here on the coast because it's a driftwood color. My husband and I are very satisfied. We are getting a lot of use out of it. I'd definitely recommend.
