I wanted a vest to wear for work. I previously had nylon vests for pockets. This vest is a thicker material. Great for cooler temps. Ample pockets. Excellent fit.

This vest fit like a glove. It runs true to size thankfully. It is also very well made and the build quality is excellent. This brand is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine.

This vest is a nice, flat-laying vest, which I wouldn't call a, 'puffer', vest because it really doesn't have the fluffy, puffy filling and chambers like what I think are in puffer vests. That being said, this is a great vest!!The vest is very light, so not useful when the temperatures are too low, but this is perfect when the weather is just on the brink of being too nice to wear any outerwear and just cool enough to feel a chill. Anything cooler than that and this is too light.The thin material of the vest makes it feel like a cargo vest made for carrying things, like a light hunting or fishing vest, but it doesn't have all of the pockets and loops like one of those, so it kind of is unique and in its own category.I'm glad that I got the XXL because it fits nice and loose on me, which is what I wanted, but I usually wear either an L or XL depending on item - I've never worn anything in XXL, but with my recent luck in Chinese sizing, I decided to go bigger and I'm glad that I did.This vest would be great to wear while active outdoors because of its lightness and because it allows free movement while wearing it.
